I found these two locally, on the same shelf. I hadn't really paid much attention to this line. Is this variant with the tiny eyes and paler colors known? The rest of the series matched the large eye version.

Well, I've never seen that before. How bizarre! She almost looks like a bootleg, lol!
The my little pony logo seems to be in a different position and also smaller on her package as well, unless it's just the camera angle?

In store or secondhand? That is very fakie-ish and I do see Rainbow Power MiB brushables on Aliexpress which makes me suspicious. I never ordered any from them yet.

These ones all have "$3 Dollarama" stickers on there...not sure why. These are not authentic at all. There are some authentic ones on Aliexpress for sure but these? No.

I... uh, wow. What kind of store was she bought from? It does give me a fakie sort of vibe. What does the back of her card look like compared to the normal one?

She does give a fakie vibe, but on the other hand I have never known a fakie company to actually include a brochure.
I believe the Rainbow Power ponies were available (new) in some low-price discount stores. Like dollar stores (but priced at more than just a dollar, but still pretty cheap.) Maybe the dollar store versions have the small eyes? Just a thought.
If it helps, here's my Rainbow Power Pinkie Pie . . . but I got her secondhand so I don't know her origin. I can't really tell which version she is, either.

wow what an awesome find, did you take the photo in the shop or did you take it home, i hope you did, i love that kind on variation in ponies. She is a different pink too like a different kind of plastic was used.
Her eyes remind of Octavia's small weird eyes. :lol:
BTW these are really old stock aren't they, i haven't seen these around for a couple of years now, maybe more.

These were available in a Canadian dollar store Dollarama, which gets old stock from other stores sometimes (you should have seen all the stuff they had when Target folded here). They often have both brand name and fakie toys.
However, sometimes the “brand name” stuff is actually really good knock offs, where you really can’t tell the difference at a casual glance. There was a news story about it years ago, specifically citing Polly Pocket toys as something to look out for as faked (this was back when they had tiny magnets that could come out of the toy and be dangerous if swallowed by a little kid), and, of course, the fakes don’t go through the same kind of safety testing as the real thing.
I suspect this Pinkie is one of those. I’ve seen Rainbow Power AJ in this store as well where the colour was just off, and in hindsight she was also probably one.

What Elfpony said. I did find them in a Dollarama. I bought all the weird ones, and one normal one. The weird ones can be sold if anyone is interested. ^.^ I'll get some more pictures to compare the packaging.

not sure about the small eyed pinkie pie, but i've found the one o the left with the different hair color and also a paler applejack. I think I still have a set. But I can't remember where I found them. The rest I found I sold to other collectors a few years ago. :X
