My Amazon package is suppose to come, the van driver drove up the road not stopping at my house. My patience is wearing thin. Why can't Amazon have the post office delivering packages and not have people in white vans doing the packages.
I'm so :angry:

Logistics is a funny thing. Sometimes to keep costs down the trucks need to go on routes that appear out of the way. In fact, there's no way of telling your package WAS on that truck that went by. You don't know where it's coming from, or where it's going.
I assume that Amazon isn't having your local post office deliver packages because there is not a man power to do so, or the cost is too high.

Amazon shows a map of how many stops your parcel will take to come to your house. Checked it at 10:34 and it said your package is only a few more stops away, it's 13:49 now and still no package.
Plus it free delivery the stuff is.
I have no problems with Hermes.

So, it doesn't show the location of the package -- nor the truck it is on.
TBH, if you can, stop looking at the tracking you won't think about it as much. As I said, logistics is odd -- but it's designed to get your package to you the cheapest way and then fastest.
I think it's looking at the tracking is only adding to your frustration. Especially if you did not pay for a service that was a delivery by a certain date and time.

They've got till 9PM to deliver it. I wonder if when they knock on the door Honey will start barking at them

And the sad thing is you don't want things left outside anymore! Dang people are so bad at stealing. Its so sad! :(

It just came, and what do you know Honey barked when the delivery man knocked on the door. Hiney has a loud bark now I've got a headache.
All that's left to come that I'm not worried about are all of the things from China and Hong Kong (only thing I'm worried about is the male doll head and body for Dot Pyixs.

I'm glad it arrived safely, but I think you would be best served by being more patient instead of getting unhappy every time a delivery is late. I think it would be less stressful for you.

The system of postage for Amazon in the UK these days is always via courier so you really are at the mercy of when you are on the route. Although (and I am probably now jinxing myself) things generally arrive at reasonable times for me. On occasion they've come late delivery where I used to be but that had a 24 hour desk so it wasn't a big deal. It can be frustrating if it's something you need quickly (I have waited for ink cartridges before xD) but overall it's not too much of a problem for me that they don't use Royal Mail. I mean, that often doesn't come till midday or sometimes 2pm these days, and 2nd class is..well...you remember how long 2nd class can sometimes take ><.
We need the Japanese postage system. I swear I have had things quicker from Japan than I have from 2nd class mail within the UK on multiple occasions. When I came back to the UK after my fieldwork I sent a bunch of boxes home and they arrived with my parents in 2 days o.o.

I had a courier leave a package wrapped in paper IN THE SNOW this last week. I checked the tracking, it said delivered, I went outside and there it was, lying in the garden in several centimeters of SNOW. Whaaaaaa, guys, use the MAILBOX.

Eeek! And it sounds from what you typed as if you were also there the whole time as well. Perhaps knocking on the door is now out of favour? There are more and more of these stories...

I guess you need an intelligent bush to sign for your parcels, like we apparently have back home...>.>

O.o tossing packages in the snow is a normal occurrence here, as many packages don't fit in the mail box.
The only time it upset me is when the dumb seller put books in a shoe box with holes. (Snow obviously went in the holes)
