Ever heard of this game? It's for the Sega Genesis and is a fairly simple platformer about a pony who has to rescue her friends from the clutches of an evil wizard. In order to do that, you must find gemstones that can free them from several fates such as: being turned into a fountain statue, turned into one with the forest (you know, vegetation all over and unable to move), turned into a carousel horse...
Hm... doesn't this all sound familiar? The whole ordeal with evil wizards, terrible fates and adventure involving colorful horsies? :P

Yes. When we had an emulator, I'd gotten it for my daughter. Its a cute simple little game.

I just watched this playthrough on Crystal's Pony Tale on YouTube. There are some blurry lines/ wavy scenes at the beginning of the game and when Crystal rescues each horse.

It does seem like maybe Sega was looking at My Little Pony when they created the game but it's probably just coincidence that they share some of the same elements.

Ooh, I found this game a little while ago... I was browsing an emulator site and decided to search for pony and this came up! It's very cute :)

I remember that game! I saw a playthrough on YouTube recently and they gave Crystal the most normal colors possible. XD

I played and completed it some years ago on an emulator. It was very easy and repetitive, but fun for what it was!
There's also a prototype version of the game which I played a little, but it doesn't seem hugely different from the final if I remember.

I still have this game from childhood! It was a favorite given my love of ponies. It was easy but cute. I loved that you could change the pony’s colors.

I used to play the heck out of this back in the Sega Channel days. Funnily enough I wasn't really into ponies at all back then; I mostly just liked the soundtrack.

My friend had this as a kid for her birthday. A few years later I downloaded the emulator version :) I was convinced it was MLP for a long time LOL
