This week we're going beddy bye eyes!
I know this is going to be a tough week for votes, so lets focus on the positive pony love, and this unique gimmick!

I have her, she was a lucky antique mall find for under $10 with her bonnet and diaper. I like that they're so ginormous!

Have her and the others of this set! I love these ginormous ponies, they're such an unusual release. Of the three ponies in this set, I always wondered why they didn't name the all pink pony "Pink Dreams". Wouldn't that make more sense when looking at all the ponies in the set side by side? And why they called them "Soft" Sleepy Newborns I have NO idea - there's nothing soft about them! Still, I love them all. Took me a while to get all three. Their accessories are impossible to find though :(

Want! Though I probably don't have the space. But I love big ponies, so cute and you can hug them :heart: But why are they called soft? I think I knew at one point but I've forgotten. Were they supposed to be flicked?

I don't have her. I had lots of chances to get her back in the mid nineties/early 2000s but I had space issues. I don't really regret not having her. I chose to get one from the set and that was Hushabye who is still my favourite I think. They are cute but weird things.
This one I have seen in person at ponycon. She is. Very. Pink. O.o.
I think if one showed up randomly somewhere for cheap here I'd buy her. I wouldn't pay shipping on her now unless I had a pony room to put her in. As it is Hushabye and MPP are rather crammed in :/ But I am not fussed. So I am not passing but also don't especially want her right now.
Absolutely nothing soft about them for the record ;) Big hard plastic ponies. :)

I'll pass - much as I like the idea of big pony toys, there's no room in my house for one! (That said, I apparently have room for a 4ft plush dolphin...) Her colour scheme is very pretty, and her expression is cute - I gather it's probably for some kind of bottle accessory but it looks like she's going "Oooh!" at something. :lol:

I think she has a dummy? I don't know - mine has no accessories - but I think that's what it's for? Or is it a bottle?

I was honestly just making a wild guess based on her symbol, the thought that they might have come with a pacifier never occurred to me. :P

Yeah, that's what I thought too. (Dummy = Pacifier, in case I confused anyone)

I don't really have space for one, so I wouldn't go out of my way to seek her out. If I happened across one, I might make room.

She's alright! I'll pick her up if I see her. I think the gimmick looks better on the bigger ponies.

I dont mind these ponies but I wont go out of my way to look for them. I agree BBE's are creepy but cute. I like my creepy ones to be small less frightening that way. I dont know where I would put those big "babies" anyway. I am running out of room.

I have her, I won her in a raffle on the arena and was able to get all the marks off her and even be-head her and fix her internal issues! I was kinda pumped because I didn't now they existed until my adult collecting days and I have a soft spot for beddy bye eye ponies! If you've ever gotten the heads of those things they are wild inside o-o

I have her & I just dusted her shelf yesterday, it was long overdue, Lol. I do like the shape of them. It did take a long time to track all three down. I'm lucky 2 have their bonnet & panties :) I don't think they were available in Canada, so I knew there was next to no chance finding them secondhand here. I find them less creepy than the babies.. but they are kept on a shelf higher than my eye level :rolleyes: :wonder: :silly:

I believe a former Hasbro employee indicated that they were originally going to be flocked, although that idea was scrapped. I heard this story secondhand, though. Can anyone confirm? My suspicion is that flocking something that large would be prohibitively expensive.

Actually, I remember hearing this too. I mean, what else could they do to make them "soft"? Plus they had already flocked ponies before.

I love her! And I have her. I got mine years and years ago at a garage sale- before the internet told me anything about her. I named her Wilkins, made her a little shrinky-dink necklace, and love her oodles. She cost me a quarter. I might even remember which house in my local town I got her at, because every time I go to a garage sale at that house, she pops into my head. I still find ponies at that home's yearly garage sale, though they are newer now.
Probably the kids of the person who's pony I have. How cool! I think I will ask them about it next time!

I found her and the one with the duck when I was a kid, at second hand stores. I thought they were fakes or something but glad I went ahead and got them. My mom paid probably less than $5 for them. Then maybe a year later, after I got a computer in 1998, I found another one for my first pony friend I met online and was able to give it to her half a year later in person =D
