friends you might be underwhelmed but it means so much to me! I found my first ever truly 100% in the wild G1 charity shop find! It has been 1 1/2 years since I began searching for G1s and G2s in charity shops, antque shops, ect. (I've found G3 and G4 already)

She's been cleaned up, and I'm gonna keep her forever as I vowed to myself that I'd love the first ever G1 I find, regardless of their condition! Now to wait until I find my first ever G2!
I'm also going to save her to get restored with regular pony hair but for now, she'll do!

Congrats!! She's a great find, I definitely would have adopted her too...and those victories are even more meaningful as the world starts to open back up and we can go shopping again ^.^ Can't wait to see her all cleaned up! :good:

I haven't even thought to search places like that. I guess I just don't expect to have any luck. Just like at yard sales. Ugh, I wish!! I had some man come to a yard sale I was having and he saw a couple of mine for sale and told me that his daughter used to collect them back in the 80s and she has boxes upon boxes. My eyes probably got sooo wide! I told him to remember where I live & ask if she'd be interested in selling any because I'm a new collector. I'm kicking my butt for not giving him my phone number. He of course never returned *sobs*
But I'm on a mission to find them somewhere out there in the world... somehow!! I LOVE the idea to keep whoever you find first no matter what. I think I'm gonna vow the same! Maybe one day I can let you know too what I found out there in the wild (:

She's also a super lucky pony that you rescued her and are going to take good care of her now.

(On her hair, because her forelock is fine, I wonder if it was cut or if it rotted away and fell off. I've not see that with PP ponies before, but it's a possibility).
And she does have that kind of a scent about her. PP ponies have awesome perfumes <3
