Just started. It's kinda hard to tell if the color is coming back, because the paint is so thin and the sky is overcast.  :pout: But I think it is.

Pony Corral / Help needed for an all new Resource Guide!
« Last post by Moonbreeze on Today at 09:20:49 PM »
Hi everyone!

Yum-Yum and I have been plotting this for a while now.
But we've finally started working on a G2 Resource Guide!
With new variants, prototypes, art ... and something extra ;)

So what I'm looking for now are some missing filecards in my own database.
I translated most backcard stories (Dutch, German, French, Spanish and some Italian) from the MOCs I had in my collection.

Right now, we are looking for the original English texts!
It has to be from a backcard with the tiny file cards on them.
F.e. Princess Golden Light has one without the tiny file card and a version with it. So we're looking for a bit of consistency here :)

Without file card: http://lavenderlagoon.weebly.com/uploads/4/2/3/8/4238855/2012120.jpg
With file card: http://lavenderlagoon.weebly.com/uploads/4/2/3/8/4238855/8788696.jpg

This is the list of backcard stories we still need to original English texts for:

1999
Bright Bramley
Flash
Satin Slipper

2000
Romantica/ Dainty Dove
Ivy
Wing Song
Bright Bramley
Silver Rain
Silver Swirl & Baby Swirly
Polka & Dot
Jewel & Sparkle
Sweetheart & Trueheart
Carriage with Sky Skimmer & Fleur
Baby Flitter
Lady Satin Slipper

Secondly, I am also looking for scans of the following cards :)
MM Ivy (2000)
Fire & Flame
Castle Sweet Berry
Lady Satin Slipper
Golden Light  (mine is discolored)
Bright Bramley (2000)
Kitchen Sweet Berry
Ballroom Morning Glory
Moonshadow (1998)
Tipsy Tulip (mine has a fold)

So shoot me a PM if you have any of these :D
If you have something you would love to see, let us know!

Thanks a bunch!  :frolic:

Interesting that Hasbro UK was the one who said "No, start with the Rainbow ponies, not the Collector ponies."  I guess I wasn't expecting that level of detail to be involved and assumed The Bridge Direct was only dealing with "one" Hasbro (the US branch.)  At most I thought maybe Hasbro would give TBD a list of what was released and be like "Have fun, lol."  Sounds like Hasbro UK is more hands-on than I thought!

I was surprised by that, too. I really didn't expect that Hasbro were involved in this at all really, heh.

They'd have to be, though. Not just for the licence, but also the amount of artwork? Poster and packaging and so on? It does make sense.

I wouldn't recommend Tinypic - they delete pics at random and they recycle URLs, so sometimes your pic will be replaced with a NSFW or otherwise unsavoury pic :x

I love this pony - definitely one of my favourite g4s. Good luck!

Thanks applejackbunny! We need it.

Apparently this Chrome plug-in fixes the Photobucket-images-not-showing-up issue:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-embedded-imag/ogipgokcopooepeipngiikdkpmcpkaon

Haven't gotten round to trying it out myself but figured I might as well drop a link to it here, hopefully it'll help y'all :) I really hate how Photobucket screwed up their site...

It's not working for me :( I don't understand why as the other photobucket links earlier in this thread worked.

I'll try on my phone, just in case it works there.

Love pkw xxx
