Woo hoo Friday! This week we'll be focusing on ponies that have a unique theme, lips, either on their symbols or relating to their names.

Hmm, first of this week's ponies that I actually kind of like. (I dunno, I guess the lips-themes ones just don't appeal to me?) I'd keep her if I found her, but I'm not sure if I'd go after her specifically.

I have her, but she is in pretty rough shape :( I could hypothesise about how she spent the wilderness years between release and coming to my collection, but I won't...)

Her colors are very pretty. I wouldn't mind having her.

Lovin' Kisses is my favorite of the Sweet Kisses line(s), mainly because hers is the only symbol that doesn't have lips or lipstick, so I can more easily forget that her gimmick exists. :lol: I can pretend that she's just the cool punk rock chick crashing the Prom Queens' party like a Cyndi Lauper in a sea of Debbie Gibsons.

I got this one shes a beauty. I have the full set of sweetheart sisters they were easy for me to get into. I really like them.

The gimmick was that the lips would appear with cold water (or was it hot water?) It was an actual Hasbro decision.

I think there are some moral question marks over the behaviour of my pony in her past life. Those lips are very worn off :) (Looks a bit like she's trying to cosplay as Poirot actually...)
They're original to her but in the case of my pony are really badly discoloured and rubbed :)
I think it's cold water although in the case of the UK ones which my sister and I had from new, two of them have never had showing lips and the other has very showing lips which don't really respond to water so *shrugs*. You can see where the invisible lips are. They just don't change.
Oh and I think the idea was for the kid to kiss the lips off the pony....*shudders* anyway...

I'm really not a big fan of the SHS ponies, they've just never really appealed to me. One day I'll get her, but I'm in no rush.
