I would love to read all your favourite quotes from songs! :D

I have many, but the first one that comes to mind is one from a song by Christy Moore, called Natives (he didn't write it, but I love Christy Moore, so I say he did!). It's one of those lines that hit the nail on the head, gives you goosebumps and teaches you something. It's this line:
"Only the very safe can talk about wrong and right,
Of those who are forced to choose, some will choose to fight"
This is something I didn't really realise before, at least not actively. But it says everything; it's so easy to have an opinion about everything, but what if you were in someone's shoes who is in no position to think about "wrong" and "right"? It really puts you in your place...
Nice ones everyone! I'd love to read more. :D
I have more too, but I can't remember them now. >_< So I'll go with an obvious one (so obvious it doesn't even need to be mentioned), In The End by The Cranberries. Even though they are my most loved band for many reasons, their lyrics aren't generally their strongest point (bad fan, bad fan! :shakefist: ). But this one sends chills down my spine for obvious reasons:
"Ain't it strange,
When everything you wanted was nothing that you wanted,
In the end...
Take my house,
Take the car,
Take the clothes...
But you can't take/tame the spirit!"
It's "take" in one chorus, "tame" in another. Both versions are equally strong, that's why I wrote it like that. It says everything.
