Title: Ebay help! :/
Post by: Whoa1234 on November 20, 2012, 11:14:52 AM
Long story short, I got a moc pony which arrived heavily damaged.
Opened a case and had to escalate it yesterdsy.
I just got my refund but no further instructions on what to do.
Do I return the pony, Do I keep it, What do I do.
I don't see any instructions on what to do now that the case is closed.
Help please! <3

if the case was closed in your favor and you got your refund, then you're done. You don't have to return the item. If you were required to return it you wouldn't get the refund until after the item was confirmed to be back to the seller.

That's how I thought it worked, return then refund.
Thank you!

Share the name of the seller to prevent others from receiving similarly packaged items?  :)

So sorry to hear about this...

NoDivision is correct, there is nothing more you need to do.  If the case was closed in your favor then it means the seller mosy likely did not respond to the case.  If she had responded then you most likely would have had to return it.

Sorry you had a disappointing purchase

Case closed + refund+ no contact from seller = you get the pony and the refund = not too bad an outcome , even though it was a disappointing situation to begin with
Its the sellers own fault for not responding to the case - they would have had the pony returned if they had responded.
