Title: Help removing head of water colour baby sea pony
Post by: kid80 on September 16, 2021, 03:59:03 AM
Hi again :) Hoping someone has some advice on removing the head from a water colour baby sea pony.

I have tried both running her under hot water and using nail polish remover around the glue, but no luck. She does have an existing separation between her head and body on one side, but I can't get the separation to increase any further.

I feel like I've read or seen people boiling ponies to remove their heads (wow, that sentence sounds insane out of context). Has anyone tried that? Any other tricks up your sleeves?

I would carefully use an exacto knife to continue to cut the glue from the existing seperation. Or maybe even before that, try to wedge something in there and work around her head.
