mine is fading pink or the neon yellow because the yellow hair bleeds out and you have to repink fading pink
i love these colors but man
-
Probably Tappy's yellow, although I must say it's probably the combination I don't like (ham-pink ponies with yellow hair XD).
-
Neon yellow, without a doubt. Yellow isn't my favourite colour anyway but it's bearable until you turn the shade up to that of a hi-viz jacket.
-
Fading pink hair (brought two packets of Shrimp colour nylon hair for my ponies that had that fading pink hair now I need to get more)
Neon Yellow doesn't suit Surprise or any other ponies because it's so bright (I had a neon coloured hair Barbie and that shines in the dark)
Heck any neon coloured hair ponies are a no no (only like neon pink)
-
I like them all from a visual standpoint (also depends on the pony's body color), but I agree with you, Mami. Fading pink is a very beautiful color, but I hate that it fades! I have a lot of ponies with this hair color (G1 and G3), and all of them have faded to an extent, most of them completely to white. And I also really like the neon yellow (it's one of my favorites visually, actually, I seem to be attracted to brightly colored ponies), but the bleeding color is really annoying!
The worst culprit of them all has to be the pink color in G3 Jazz Matazz's hair... cause it falls out. >_<
-
For me its not the hair color, but the color combos that go along with it. I don't like pink and yellow ponies like Rapunzel or Princess Sunbeam most of the time, unless there is another color to compliment it.
Forsythia is one of my few exceptions because she's such a unique shade of dark pink and the yellow is light and soft. Tea Leaf has nice pastel shades, Shady is just pure neon awesomeness and Butter Pop has that rich, dark, velvety red streak.
I don't like the Scoot-a-loo combination. Orange, purple and hot pink is yuck! It looks great on Island Rainbows however, because its a sort of an orchid pinky-purple and I like the pale, cotton candy pink and purple combo on Pretzel.
-
I don't really care for the neon yellow. It's still a long way from actually hating it. I love all the G1 ponies. But I would call it my least favorite color.
-
Orange like ss twist colour
-
I hate the Cotton Candy pink. No matter how nice the rest of the pony is, it just looks dingy and dirty to me
-
I like pretty much every colour (the neons make me laugh and remember the gawdy 80's fashions) but I guess if I had to choose one it would be G1 Paradise's red because it frays and frizzes in almost every pony I see it on. The colour changing hair is the same. But I still like them visually
-
Have to agree with the neon, Surprise/Shady yellow ahaha. Just too bright for me!
-
Oh I love neon yellow :D :D its funny to see so many people disliking it :P lol
I dont really like red / orange hair, but it comes to the pony itself, I for example adore Merry Treats <3

Motion seconded - pink ponies with yellow hair always unsettle me a bit with their ham-and-cheese sandwich vibe!

That's what it is! Ham & Cheese!

I think I have to agree with everyone saying fading pink. I mean, I love that specific shade of pink. It's beautiful. But once it starts fading, or has faded completely... it just looks so sad.
-
That rusty orange. You see it on a lot of fakies, too!
-
Black, gray, or brown. I prefer ponies that are pastel or vibrant and colorful ^.^
-
Red or orange. It just looks too dark instead of bright and cheerful. I like the more pastel colors and the blues and purples.

At least its not Green Eggs and Ham. :P

I have to join the consensus on the chartreuse/neon yellow! I don't super dislike it; it's not my fav colour by any means - it's more how often its condition falls into disrepair!
And like many have also said - I utterly adore the fading pink on ponies - when it's still pink! :P
-
I love the neon yellow on Honeycomb as her white body complements it.
However, Shady's yellow against her "sunburnt" pink body - I just can't get used to it!
As a kid, I owned Cherries Jubilee but always found her hair/body combo unusual, it reminds me of when my granny would get glass jars and layer them with sugar and raspberries to turn them into raspberry syrup, it made that browny-pink colour that is CJ's hair; I am tempted to one day re-hair a baity CJ with a deep magenta colour as I think that would look really pretty against her nearly-peachy body, especially if it matches the magenta version of her cherry rump symbols!

Yes, I think Shady's hair works better with the SS version rather than the movie star one! Since the fluff coating makes her a softer pink. I quite like the chartreuse hair, but it's VERY out there in combo with the body colour. Same goes for Sweet Notes ^^'
-
I love the chartreuse hair and pink fading hair is sad when it turns white. :/ I dont really like that either. There is nothing to stop it except hiding a pony in the dark.

I really like that about the syrup.

I think I have to go with what a few others have mentioned: for me it is not a particular hair colour but the colour combinations that put me off. I actually like the vibrant neon yellow hair, and I own a movie star Shady who was a gift from a friend of mine. Love her over the top colour scheme.
-
my least favorite is the weird peachy color that the fading pink turns into :(
-
Probably the neon yellow. I don't hate it, but I dislike how jarring it is and that now, 30 years later, it's hard to clean off an otherwise lovely pony, lol!
-
I dislike the fluorescent yellow haired ponies. Never a flattering colour, unless they work in construction or traffic control and need a high-vis safety gear :P
-
Even if I think really hard I can't come up with a pony whose hair color I would not have liked.
-
I also struggle to think of a color I don't like, but the "Electric Banana" that you see with Surprise and some of the Rockin' Beats is a bit loud, and I don't as much like the green hints, but is still is fun.
-
#1 neon yellow - Because it stains, and also it just doesn;t look good on anypony. #2 fading pink - Because it fades, so sad to see a pony with white hair when it should be pink. My opinion seems to be the same as many others here! :P

White! I don't know why, it just seems... too natural to me! LOL
-
The neon yellow hair is also not a favourite for me, although I dont mind it on Surprise.
