Title: Accessory ID help needed.
Post by: KottonKandy on April 30, 2018, 09:28:10 PM
So this little thingy actually showed up in an MLP lot I purchased. I assume it’s a Barbie thing bc the hole at the bottom of the stem looks like a good size for her thumb. I’m tempted to just trash it, but I wanna check and make sure it’s not an important or rare accessory or something before I chuck it.

Still trying to I'd this but don't throw it away! (Send it to me!)

Update: This is hard! Most of the doll bouquets I've looked at have fabric flowers or multi colored flowers! From what I did see most plastic flower bouquets were from the 70s-80s. Couldn't find an exact match but I'v found something similar.

I found these on UK ebay; they look like the flowers and also have the finger hole (it's a big bouquet made from two).

The description said this was similar to Sindy's 1974 Bride outfit bouquet seen here (picture credit to the site OurSindyMuseum:

This bouquet does not have the finger hole on the stem and it has tulle and cotton lace but again, the flowers are similar.

Oh snap! Well you were more successful than I in finding some info. I tried googling random phrases but couldn't find anything remotely like what I have here. Those plastic multi colored ones definitely look like they're made from the same mold. Just different color, and the stem is opaque rather than translucent.

And you can absolutely have it if you want it!

Part of me is thinking this was part of an accessory pack (the ones that came with slice of life items) but I haven't been able to find one with flowers.
