Title: What do you watch on youtube?

I'm curious about these things! I feel like my YT watching habits might seem odd compared to my outward personality lol. I also often am surprised to learn some of my friends "guilty pleasure" channels. Anyway I just thought this would be a fun topic to share! Maybe We'll even discover some new channel we didn't know about!

So let me start!
I watch a TON of Monsterhigh/doll custom channels lol, my favorites being:
Dollightfull
Hextian
Mozekyto
MariaLazar
Tamakyu
Nicolles Dreams
And also in the craft world, I love Froggie stuff and Nerdecrafter!

When I wanna get a laugh I watch:
simply nailogical (I dont even have nail polish, I just love watching lol)
yogscast (mainly sjin and sips channels)
Rosanna Pansino/ nerdy nummies
good mythical morning

I also find Casey Neistat, Jenna marbles, Julien solomita, and Crazy Russian Hacker very interesting at times, depending on the topic.

Lastly I love a channel called Primitive Technology Its so neat to see a person go into the wilderness and make things from scratch using only found materials.

I don't follow any channels or uploaders, the whole social media world is completely strange to me. However, I do use YouTube regularly to listen to music. Lately I've also been hunting for new music on YouTube, it's a great source to discover new artists in genres you like.

I also watch tv series that are no longer on television and impossible to get on DVD, but it's usually cut to pieces and/or edited very badly because of the copyrights. :hmm: Some of the series I love to watch are Golden Girls, Punky Brewster and Joan Of Arcadia.

So I guess I'm quite boring and uninspirational. XD

I love Dollightful! She is one of my favorite channels! I watch GMM too. Other than that, not much really. Jaiden Animations, theodd1sout, and other animation channels are great. I also watch some art and crafting channels :)

My habit is to leave a long video on in another tab when scrolling through media.
Grav3yardgirl is an easy listening, and her videos are usually long which is good.
I also marathon Lindsay Ellis/Chez Lindsay's video essays. I love video essays about Disney movies. Nostalgia Critic and Caddicarus are a little over the top for me, but when I'm in the mood they're pretty entertaining.
Cartoon channels are neat too. RebelTaxi and Uncivilized Elk are the ones I listen to most right now.

I mostly watch makeup videos, or like vlogs and stuff from beautubers. There's a ton that I watch when I get the chance. I don't want to list any of them though because I'm pretty sure they all use language that's not Arena appropriate. I think the only channel that's completely wholesome that I'm really into right now is Nail Career Education. I have no desire to be a nail tech and spent so many years hating acrylics, but man Suzie is just so lovely! Her voice is really soothing and she's an excellent nail artist. Her creativity convinced me that I'm gonna need acrylics when I get married.

As for already mentioned people, I love Simply Nailogical, Jenna Marbles, and of course My Froggy Stuff. I haven't watched anything from Grav3yardgirl yet but I heard she's a doll collector so I plan to check her out soon.

Oh! And How To Cake It! Not sure how I forgot Yolanda. Her cakes are stunning and she's just really fun to watch.

i also like gamegrumps, K Werner Design, sugarcharmshop, rrcherrypie, jerrypop, dollastic, Tati, anne pecaro, binging with babbish, jeb gardner, bonobos25, and andrea wilson.

it may seem like a lot ;; but i dont have cable, so youtube is pretty much my tv entertainment! nothing like a good episode of gg over lunch. If you're looking for doll videos i highly reccomend anne pecaro and andrea wilson.

I mainly have been on a claymation kick, and go wherever it leads me. I do tend to focus on anything horror though.

Pretty much gamers. Mostly those who currently, or at least one time, centered around Minecraft. Yep, I got my nerd on. But that's not to say I only watch Minecraft gaming. I like variety. I also watch political commentaries and Christian apologetics videos.

I love grav3yardgirl! Very entertaining.

I also enjoy Kandee Johnson's videos. I'm not really a fan of makeup, but she's got incredibly inspirational videos that always make me feel wonderful after I watch them! :)

Concerts I've not been able to see live.
Once in a blue moon I end up watching BlackFriday or some other goth chick talk about life, makeup and cloths until I get bored.

I watch animal youtubers a lot, like
Taylor Nicole Dean,
Coralfish 12g
Tyler Rugge
occasionally  the king of DIY (freshwater fish) goHerping.... lots of animal channels.

I also watch art channels like minnie small, leigh ellexson, loveteacupkisses, holly brown and alisadraws.

Iiii watch gaming sometimes, mostly for tactics on raids (signs of kelani and fatboss tv)  in WoW, but I don't watch letsplays or anything like that.

And a bunch of vintage/pinup channels like cherrydollface, pinup companion, and lastly some of the goth youtubers (I'm one, too, but I'm on a hiatus currently) like toxic tears and reeree phillips.
And sometimes I watch drama channels, like peter monn, just for the heck of it.

Ahh some nostalgia here! Simon's Cat and Team 4 Star ftw!

My fave channel right now is Frog Leap Studios. Leo is an amazing musician, and he's funny to boot. He does metal and acoustic covers of popular music, and honestly, most of it is really good. He does all of the instruments and vocals himself, except for a few guest spots. His video for the metal "Let It Go" is hilarious, it's filmed in his daughter's room, using all of her toy instruments (she's possibly 3 or 4? So freaking cute!). It's definitely a channel I recommend for everyone, metal fan or not, it's worth a look.

I watch a lot of older music videos for a nostalgia hit, newer stuff just to check out what's new, and anime that I've already bought, but if I'm too lazy to pull out the DVDs. Right now I'm re-watching Ouran on YT, because sometimes you just need to laugh, ya know?

There are only two I regularly check up on:

HumorBagel (he does hilarious pranks)
FlyGirl Gaming (or something like that.....she is a girl who is into gaming and reviews games and sometimes does giveaways. She hasn't been active for a while....)

Usually I am just listening to music or watching video game or anime stuff on there.

I tend to watch a lot of art-related channels, such as WLOP, CGCookie, Proko, Sycra, China Digital Painting and a handful of others I've forgotten about. Sometimes I'll watch dance performances, craft techniques or a game playthrough. Horse music videos, like loveravenwood, are another favorite of mine. But beyond that, I don't really spend that much time on YT. *shrug*

I just recently started watching Foodwishes, and im totally obsessed! i reccomend watchin it on 1.5 speed, it makes his voice that much more melodic~

I have subscribed to loads of channels but I rarely watch them! The only ones I can think of that I regularly go to are My Froggy Stuff who are awesome, and Boyce Avenue who do incredible music covers. I mainly watch music videos, crochet videos and other craft how-too stuff, and peoples natural history collections - last night I was watching a video of someone's shell collection, it was incredible <3
I think tonight I shall definitely be cheking out some of the channels recommended here.

@bewilderbeast we watch a lot of the same stuff ^_^ I love ask a mortician, hms2, Peterdraws and Bobby Duke.. Though I didn't put them on my list. They're kind of the background radiation to what I usually watch... But Bobby never fails to get at least one snicker out of me.

Just this week I've started watching MRE reviews.. Kind of an odd niche side of YouTube, but super interesting. My favorites are:

I've gotten into some history-related channels recently, mostly The Great War and Extra History. I've been going back and forth between that and car-related videos from Doug DeMuro, Regular Cars, and sometimes Jay Leno's Garage. The only video-game related channel I look at would be PhlyDaily. Not too many channels I regularly visit. I think most of the time I just bounce around between channels.

A lot of my favorites have already been mentioned. This has been a great thread I've been sick and bored out of my mind this afternoon and now have a lot of new channels to look through.

I haven't subscribed to any specific channels, but Youtube is good for checking out comedians, bands, tutorials and such. Oh, and Reeves and Mortimer sketches. I watch a whoooole lot of those (they've been my favourite comedy duo ever since I was a kid, despite being not entirely appropriate for kids.) :P

Funny comparison! I hear it now that you mention it. I watch pretty much everything on 1.5 or 2x speed, I really can't stand when people take too long to say one or two things, and once you get used to everyone talking fast, it's impossible to stop XD it just makes everybody sound so much better.

Peter Brown and Bobby Duke Arts!!

I totally forgot about them because I don't subscribe, but I LOVE both of them respectively!

Peter makes some really unique but pretty things, and Bobby makes some gorgeous wood worked items!

haha I came here to say Simply Nailogical and Dollightful even though I have neither of those hobbies...

SugarCharmShop and Stephanie Kilgast (often talks about interesting stuff/books she's read while she sculpts) for crafts
Tina Yu does amazing art
muchelleb, Ruby Granger for lifestyle/motivation
Taylor R, Sharla in Japan from time to time, as well as Sorelle Amore (Iceland)
What I've Learned, Vox, and Rare Earth for learning stuff
oh, and hoppinghammy  :lol:

Another favorite is Lindsay Ellis. She does video essays? About film? Which looks/sounds so boring as I was never able to get into any sort of film studies but she is one of the few that I get excited when a new video comes out cause boy does she have interesting things to say and an entertaining way of saying them!

Yes yes yes! She's the person whos vids I look forward to most in my subscription box. One of the few I have set for phone notifs.

Someone posts something more than 5 min long: "uuugghh I'm never watching that" Lindsay posts a 42 min long history and analysis of some film that I'm not even really into: "ooohhh I've gotta go get some snacks!!"
