There have been a number up on eBay lately, as well as Parasol.

I have forgotten what I paid for mine :blush:

Hmm, the last few have sold for around $50, which IMHO is pretty cheap!

I still cannot remember what I paid for mine, I have a feeling it was around the $200 mark though.

A word of warning; Peru customs opened the box MOC Starshine was in, REMOVED the pony from her card, pulled her head off (leaving nice black print marks on her body) and taped the boxes up with one single piece of tape (not lengthways along the opening, but acrossways) . I am surprised I received her head and accessories safely :yikes:

I don't know if this is the case with Peru customs now, but I do know South American customs can be "heavy handed" with items.

I was just re reading this-- I ordered some ponies from Peru i hope they will survive alright.. I bet the reason they look so hard is probably because of drug trafficking.. want to make sure those ponies arent hiding anything haha

I hope they arrive ok :hug: I've had other ponies from South America arrive unscathed.

Yes, drug smuggling will be the reason why the opened my box :( I have seen people have ponies damaged for the same reason.

OMG.  ::rageflails::

I'd have a complete heart attack if that happened to a MOC I'd ordered!  You must have been beyond devastated!  And even worse that there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.  I can't even imagine!

I knew it sometimes happens as I've seen it happen to others. I was gutted, but I know it was no ones fault, I certainly didn't blame the seller or ask for a refund.

Oh my god I would have died. But, like you said, there's nothing you can do.

Heartbreaking but you hear about it happening :'( Poor ponies. I have only bought loose ponies from S. America and touch wood they've all arrived fine so far - but I admit I don't really want to buy a MIB one for big money and have an overzealous customs officer do their job on it a bit too hard.
