Looks like the elderly ladies of the apple family are in the spotlight this time!
Synopsis:
"Granny Smith and her elderly friends are headed to Las Pegasus, and Rainbow Dash tags along as chaperone so she can ride the best rollercoaster ever before it closes. Unfortunately, following Applejack's care-taking rules for the "Golden Horseshoe Gals" keep Dash so busy, she doubts she'll even get to see the rollercoaster!"

Interesting note, it seems the blue unicorn stallion that appeared in the episode, named Jackpot, is actually Trixie's dad! This was hinted at by someone on the show and confirmed in a UK collectors guide.
NOTE: Yes, some episodes have already been leaked, and every episode synopsis for season eight is available. Despite this, please refrain from discussing information about these leaks until we get to the respective episodes. Thank you!

Loved it! It was awesome to see Granny Smith let loose. Her “flirty hair” had me cracking up. I loved seeing all the little parts of the hotel, and Las Pegasus, in general. It had a great message, too. See, this is the kind of episode I genuinely love.

It was cute and fun. I don't really have any complaints other than that the Applejack ghost in RD's head got annoying pretty quick.
I really liked seeing some cross generational bonding outside of just family.
That's interesting about Trixie's dad. I hadn't heard the spoilers but I noticed that he looked a lot like her.

This was fun! I loved watching Granny and her friends just do their thing. That "Apple Saucy" joke caught me off guard, as well as the title.
Noticed the Trixie similarity, too! I didn't draw the conclusion that he was her dad, but I suppose that makes sense!

This was a really cute episode! All the old lady ponies were adorable and it was sweet seeing Rainbow become friends with them! :lovey:

I really liked this one. It actually made me bust out laughing a couple of times. I hope they have some more like that this season.
And is anyone else wondering how that title got past the censors?

One of Goldie's cats was Lil Bub!! <3

Golden Mares
For some reason this episode gave me MLP Tales vibes. Cute and funny slice of life stuff; I am always thankful when RD isn't some too-cool-for-school jerk and the old ponies always crack me up. Plus, this episode had a pretty clear cut message of not being too patronizing towards our elders. That's nice.

omg that title XD Definitely not something I expected to see while checking the Corral today! XDD

What a messy, but enjoyable 22 minutes. :P
The grannies themselves were really likable and entertaining (even with some of the awkward humor).
Plus, dare I say it, this was one of Rainbow Dash's better portrayals. Sure, she was impatient and antsy about the Wild Blue Yonder, but she only had one chance to experience it. That scene at the end with her joining their golden gal group was just precious to me. ^.^
Now all that being said, I do have a major problem with this episode...
...What the hay, Applejack? Why purposefully put a damper on their fun? Why don't we get to see her realize that she shouldn't underestimate her elders.
Now granted, Rainbow Dash did initially think they were slow and boring, so she did learn something from their weekend; and Applejack is just worrying about her elders' wellbeing. But having Applejack want to show Rainbow that the grannies are more fun than she thinks and yet also give her a list of strict, limiting rules is conflictive. So that ghostly wink at the very end felt really unjustified, and this is coming from someone who is usually wanting to defend AJ.
But despite that glaring issue, I still had a good time. I'd say this is more satisfying than the previous two episodes. It may be mixed, but the good stuff to me makes it worthwhile.
P.S. Here's hoping we explore more of Trixie's family.
P.S.S. Flim and Flam made no appearance. I am pleased.
