Hello everyone! I'm a pony lover from Italy. I'm a guy interested in vintage toys and miniatures. I'm also interested in: drawing, trekking, birdwatching and writing haikai (japanese) poems. Since I'm a children books illustrator, I never really left the childhood world... :P
My Little Ponies are a great love for me. They are a sort of icon, a big piece of my imagination... I think you all can understand! G1 and G3 are my favorites.
I'm not a 'real' collector, just a lover who loves increasing his pony herd from time to time. But above all, I hope I'll learn how to restore my childhood ponies as well as old ponies found at the flea market. And I really hope to find here useful advices about restoration. I also dream of being able to make custom ponies... one day.
Please, forgive my poor English...

Welcome to the forum :D I'm sure you'll have a great time. We're a really global community and everyone has their own way of collecting or appreciating MLP. I'm sure there are lots of folk here who can help you with restoration tips :D
If you draw ponies, you might also want to post some pics in the Arts and Crafts area.
Also, I like seeing those poems actually referred tro as haikai rather than haiku :) Most people don't know that :D I study Japanese stuffs (history, literature, etc), and quite a few other people here have interests in Japanese things as well.

I'm also interested in miniatures :) I've actually made a few mini ponies, I've posted about them in the Arts in Crafts Corral (which you should check out it you are interested in drawing)!
I'm in the process of learning Japanese :) Your English is great, by the way!
Enjoy the Arena! Glad to have you here :)
