Cloud Dreamer was beginning to rust so that's the main reason she was opened up. When I got her, her symbols were also almost COMPLETELY gone (I'll stick some picks under a spoiler), but I realized a little too late that they're supposed to be blue instead of white lol. Oh well. At least she matches with her cheek symbol now!
Kisscurl was completely faded so she got new hair as well. Personally, I always give Tea Rose to "fading pink"-haired ponies since it doesn't fade nearly as bad. Although I ran out of it about halfway through, so her tail is just a tad too thin. Still very pretty though.
As I may have stated before, I replace all my Sunshine ponies' color changing streak with new non-changing hair, this time I didn't look at what it was supposed to turn into on this 'un and instead used Wysteria. Which IMHO looks great with Beach Ball!
And finally, here's yet another custom that took me over a year to complete.
G1>G3 Sunspot! Although procrastination is in my blood, the main factor that kept me from finishing this gal was actually her hair. The tail went just fine but she has a gigantic chunk of glue in her head that I could not work around. It actually broke 3 of my rehair needles! So I opted to sculpt the hair instead, which turned out okay despite my lack of expertise.
