TLDR: Flurry, chocolate, fancy, snowflakes, holiday spirit!

Host pony: Windy Wing Flurry
Theme: "Let it Snow!"
Date: Sunday December 8
Time: 1pm-5pm
Where: Ponyqueen’s house, South Metro

What’s happening?
"Fancy Gift" Dice Game
Card Exchange
Chocolate Fondue
Ornament Making
Snowflake Crafts
Group Photos
Raffle

Three Contests:
>Coloring contest, line-art provided
>Gift Wrapping contest
>Snow Globe contest

A word on the dice game- This time, instead of several $1-$3 gifts, we will instead assemble/purchase ONE nice gift of ~$10 value. To guide you, think about something YOU would want. May incorporate pony and non-pony items. Tea, chocolates, and socks have seemed popular in the past. Get creative! This is your time to shine! The game dynamics will run a little differently to ensure each person gets one gift (ie an exchange instead of steal).

A word on Pony- We love all pony, but keep in mind that G1 is more highly favored in our group.

:glitter: Gift wrapping contest- There will be an award for the fanciest, best, fantastically wrapped dice game gift!

What to bring:
Fancy gift for dice game
Flurry for group photo
One card for each attendee/couple
Snow Globe contest entry
Crafty bits for ornament making
Your holiday spirit!

So maybe crackers or mixed nuts or a veggie tray--- it really depends on my mood. This might be the day after my extended family party, so I might just bring anything that they don't eat.

Is there going to be a raffle? It looks like there are plenty of activities, we don't really need one, but if you need something for the prize table, let us know.

I have a really cool idea for a present, and actually started shopping for it today. If anyone has wishlists, feel free to post them. It would be nice to know what sort of things people want. I personally love handmade stuff- more art for my wall of art? My wall of art hasn't gotten any new additions since Neon stopped making posters.

Scarlet- I think the Dice Game is taking the place of Secret Santa.

Just saw this... yes, the Snowglobe Jar must be completed before the party, and ready for competition!

Just two and a half weeks, everyone! I expect to have a nice line-art for the coloring competition completed soon. Still thinking about my fancy gift idea, too...

The snack mix passed the test run, but I want to try a different flavor. Good thing I like snacks, otherwise this would be a real sacrifice.

Pretty excited about the Christmas Card Replacement that I am making. Lots of steps, but really worth it! I can't wait for you all to see them!

I have two prizes for the prize table.

It is only a week away, time to figure out how to assemble the mason jar thing I have loosely wandering through my head. Other than that, I think I am ready!

I have my finals in 1 week and my efforts were not enough to still make the meet despite working 32 hrs a week and taking 3 classes. The good news is, I am graduating after this semester if all goes well.
You better eat and have fun a little bit for me as well!

My bad news is that the cheesecake isn't going to work out--I purged old spices in the spring, and never replaced the cloves. Making bars instead. :)
