I haven't had a chance to buy any cookies myself, but my mother came through and picked up some for me! I LOVE girl scout cookies!
My personal favorites are peanut butter patties & caramel delites. I'm trying s'mores for the first time this year!
Optional questions:
- Were you a girl scout?
- What bakery supplies your area? (ABC or Little Brownie)
I wasn't a girl scout, and my area is supplied by ABC!
-
My aunt always ends up sending me some for my birthday since it's around the time they sell cookies. My favorites are thin mints, samoas, and tagalongs!
-
Caramel delights for me! So yummy! Oh, and I've always thought thin mints were overrated. Everybody around me was ordering a whole bunch and saying they were the absolute best. But, they are good and I will definitely eat them, just not my favorite!
I was never a Girl Scout. Never wanted to be, either. All the girls in my nearby troops were... Not the kindest to me because of one girl. And just, eh. Not my type of thing! Don't know who supplies my area.

We don’t have Girl Scouts around here, but we have girl guides of Canada. So I’ve never had Girl Scout cookies. But girl guides has its own cookies that they sell in a similar manner to you Americans. We have chocolate/ vanilla cookies and mint chocolate ones.
As we don’t have Girl Scouts here, I’ve never been one. Girl guide however? Yes. Yes I have. It was fun, but I had to hang up the badge sash because of school. I could have continued and become a pathfinder, but school was just too busy. And I have not much idea as to who supplies baking stuff here. But we got a lot of Wilton or Wilson or something like that around here.

S'mores, Lemonades, and Peanut Butter Patties are my faves! I was a girl scout for my elementary years before our troop disbanded (I was upset that we didn't do a lot of camping stuff, everyone else just lost interest) and it was pretty fun! Now I use my badges for my jean jacket. I remember when Lemonades were first introduced!
I'm not sure who supplies my area? I'm sure the troop leader knew, but I just cared about selling as many cookies as possible. We got to go to Great Wolf Lodge one year with our money!
It's interesting to see all the votes are clumped up at the top of the poll.

Sounds like Thanks-a-lots and Thin Mints!

I was a Brownie as a child. I did not like it lol. I have no memory of cookie sales or anything. I am not sure if we ever did that. I never rejoined after the one year of trying it. I love the cookies though. I don't eat them anymore, but I always try to order a few boxes for R2 since he likes them.

I believe we just have the chocolate/vanilla and the thin mints here, though I could be wrong, its been a long time ^^'
Call me when they go gluten free and we will see if they are MA safe ^^ Otherwise, I used to like the thin mints way back when :)

I actually had Girl Scout Cookies for the first time a couple days ago! Out of the entire two that my mom and I bought (Samoas and Do-si-dos), Do-si-dos are my favorite. I love peanut butter. :P
LBB seems to be the bakery that makes the cookies sold around here, given the names. I wasn't a girl scout.
-
My favorites were always the Shortbread cookies. I'd usually get those and the Tagalongs or Do-Si-Dos as a kid.
Unsurprisingly, I was not a Girl Scout, but I did get dragged along to some of my older sister's Girl Scout meetings. I have no idea who bakes the cookies in my area, since I haven't bought any in a long time.
-
I was a Girl Scout for several years as a kid and have some great memories. :hope: My favorite now is Savannah Smiles, which weren't around when I was a kid (you'd think I'd choose something nostalgic but those are tasty. We had lemon/vanilla sandwich cookies back then and they were not fav's), and also are not offered in the area I'm in now (they have switched to ABC and have Lemonades instead).-_-
I'm not really sure what my fav. is otherwise, probably Trefoils.
-
Samoas. Haven’t had any this year though. I could easily eat an entire box in one sitting if I didn’t watch myself lol
-
I was a girl scout- our troop wasn't that great though. We never went anywhere, did anything...
I love Samoas - but they are $5 a box this year! And so few cookies!
I still bought a couple of boxes- one day a couple weeks ago it was SNOWING and two little brownies were selling cookies outside the light rail station (dad standing nearby). How could I not buy them (I told myself)

Tagalongs
Do-si-dos
Thin mints

I was in girl scouts for many many years till I could of became a leader. We had Little Brownie for our cookies! The last two years now they have changed over to ABC and we don't like them. The cookies did not sell very well this year in our area! :(
I loved the old Lemon cream cookies and Thanks A Lots!
-
I like thin mints, but once upon a time they had a strawberry and cream one that was good.
-
I loooove girl scout cookies! Used to sell em when I was a scout. Samoas reign supreme with the lemonades being a very close second.
-
Thin mints are my fave, though I haven't really tried the other ones.
-
I never was a girl scout, but more the equivalent of such through a program with the Salvation Army once upon a time ago. That being said I am a big fan of the Shortbread cookies or the Somoas. One time I bought like three boxes of Thin Mints that I intended to give as gifts and got stuck with all three so it sort of killed the charm of those for me.

They set up shop outside my store.
