Title: My latest treasure <3
Post by: Marlin on August 09, 2017, 05:41:28 PM: I always wanted her in my collection one day... and finally... I just did it. I got her!!!

She's had a biiiiiiig plane ride, a lengthy brush (boy, I seriously underestimated the tangles, lol) and a nice wipe down, and here she is:

I couldn't resist - I plaited a little of mane to match the box :blush: :biggrin: She has original box and all her accessories except just one ribbon. Anyone know the colour I'm missing - there seems conflicting info on the net! I have the pink, red, blue and lavender. I think I'm missing a green one?

Just adore her!! I finally have my My Pretty Pony ^.^ ^.^ ^.^

I love looking at how her design was the inspiration for the very first G1 ponies.

She is largely considered to be so :) She was designed by Bonnie Zacherle who was also responsible for designing the first G1's :) The flatfoot ponies (original 6 - Cotton Candy, Butterscotch etc) followed on the following year :)

Thanks so much for posting, KottonKandy! I think based on what I have here, those ribbed ribbons may not be original to your pony (but I think the red and pink might be)? I could be wrong though! I can only assume the ribbons that came with my girl are truly hers :blush: But given she has all her other accessories I'm optimistic :) How lovely that yours was a gift, though! Makes her all the more special! :)
