I have a pony from Tao Bao that I suspect many people would be interested in buying, but only two copies of her. One will go up on eBay, but the other one I'd like to offer to someone on the Arena at near cost. I'm not sure how to choose who will get the chance to buy the cheap one. What do you guys think?

ooh! cant wait to see who the pony is!! :frolic: Its up to you how you prefer to do it, but as there will prolly be a lot of people who would like a chance to own the pony I voted for random drawing of interested people :)

I voted for a random drawing. Its more fair that way. You could take names for a week, and that would give everyone a chance to see it who is looking for that pony. Not everyone is online every day ;)

Yep, I like this idea! You could also offer it up to someone that's helped you out in the past. It's always nice to return the favor when you can. But if you want an across-the-board no-hurt-feelings random picking, a drawing is the way to go :)

I think a random drawing would probably be the most fun/fair for everyone, because for a HTF pony around these parts, it'll be snapped up in an instant for first-come-first-served. Ashlyne also mentioned offering it up first to someone who has helped you in the past... I think either of those solutions would be great :) and if it's Minty or Skywishes... and you do decide on a random drawing.... I REALLY hope I get some work soon to join in!!

Either way you decide to go I would be interested! I've been trying to get my hands on the rarity/celestia variants since we discovered them. I was lucky enough before the arena moved to get the one with rarity's symbol and celestia's eyes from the wonderful banditpony at close to what it cost her. But still looking for the one with celestia's sun symbol and rarity's eyes and colors, oh and the white celestia in case we never get one :)
Either way there will be interest, and I will keep my eyes out for this!

Ooo I have an idea. Why not do a random drawing where you require entrants to write a little blurb about the pony, or draw a picture.
Then the drawing process would be impartial, people can draw all of the pics they want, and everyone will be entertained by an interesting, creative thread.

Um, are we talking random drawing as in picking a random number out of a hat or an actual drawing? Cos some of us here can't draw! I voted random on the poll as I kinda assumed it would be the random number variety... :what:

Idk, I'd say first come first served. You shouldn't have to wait a week to receive payment from whoever is chosen at random if you don't want to.

This post will not serve as the drawing pool--that post will go up in the "For Sale" section of the Arena in the next day or two. So if you're interested keep an eye out for it :)
I also have a Rarity with Celestia head. If there is huge demand for her as well maybe I'll draw 2 winners, with the first winner getting first choice...

Sorry guys, I think the drawing/sales post will have to be delayed another day or so. I'm continuing in what appears to be a 12+ hr work day and when I get home I don't think I'll be in the mood to get the post ready :drunk:
