Yes, Fancy mermaids absolutely count! as well as g4 sea ponies, or IRL seahorses... you can even make up your own species.  if it's equine and aquatic, it's fine ^^

Neat! I've actually never painted with watercolours before. But I love how they look. I got a set for Christmas though, so maybe soon!

Thanks! I took it as an excerpt from the fancy mermaid babies backcard.
For todays prompt of water lily, I have come to the conclusion G2 water lily needs a G4 movie counterpart. For….reasons.

@Anna: Ahh, so cute! Love the little froggy. Mine wasn't really painted though ^_^ The base was coloured with alcohol markers.

Here is my drawing  Does Wave Jumper get a water lily crown from a frog? Or does the frog show how strong it is? 
What is the name of the pony trying to get a coconut on the island? Does anyone guess?  (There is a hint on the sand)

I'm super late but here's my drawing
My boyfriend asked me to draw a boy pony, so I drew one. Together we also figured out that it would be fun to turn him into a koi fish inspired mermaid pony (I had no idea what colors to use when I was sketching).
