Would love to have her.

For the entire month of November I'll be featuring Nirvana's from Mexico and Brazil. I'll continue to dedicate the first few days to birthday ponies in celebration of those born within that month.

Pretty, but not one of my fave Brazillians. Brazil had this funny thing about not liking unicorns, hence the different pose & lack of horn

She’s lovely in person. Her symbols are kind of metallic which really surprised me, especially on a Brazillian. I got mine a few years ago from a member here.  She’s one of my priciest ponies, though I’m not sure what she’s going for these days.  She’s really something special in person!

I don't have her, and I'm kind of conflicted about her. I've seen her in person a few times at ponycon, and it's always left me feeling the same way. I love Brazilian ponies...but Milky Way was a childhood pony for me and I have some issues with her not only being an earth pony, but also not having silver symbols and being in that pose, which didn't exist here at all. It's weird because I don't have the issue with Twist as an earth pony (maybe because she was never sold here, I don't have it fixed in my head?)

I have Strawberry Fair, Dancing Butterflies and Up Up and Away, all of whom are in different poses, and none of which bother me by being so. Strawberry Fair and Dancing Butterflies (the normal ones) were also childhood ponies but I don't feel alienated by the alternate poses on the Brazilians for those.

I think MW is just too different for me to want to splash the cash on her. She is particularly pricey, and that's a bit offputting.

I actually don't like her stars like that at all. My childhood one was silver and my friend's was white...I would've preferred that and, probably, a different pose.

So I'm not sure if I'm a want or a pass at this point. At the price she goes for, even despite my love for Brazilian ponies, it's probably a pass.

I had one for a long time. She's very pretty but i don't think i'll look for another.

I like how different she is from the TAF Milky Way. She’s just so…weird.  I’m picky with the Nirvana ponies I collect.  I’m most interested in ponies that 1) were never released in the USA, or 2) are really different from the USA versions.  I don’t have the space for 12 Blossoms with minor differences - I want something unique. I also really like ponies that should have been released in the USA, but weren’t, like Baby Minty or Baby Butterscotch.

This is why my ambivalence about MW is a bit odd, honestly. Because the thing I love most about the Brazilian ponies is that they're in different poses and even different species. Yet for some reason I find MW weird. Maybe it is just about those stars. I mean, if we were talking about Spanish MW, well, that's another conversation entirely. So I guess it's the stars, and maybe the rearing pose.

It's not that I don't like the rearing pose, just that it's always been a bit alien to me on ponies that I know from my childhood. I am fine with it on Skippety and on Truly, as I didn't grow up with either of them. But I don't like it on Magic Star and I guess I also don't like it on Milky Way, because I grew up with them...?

But that is so amazingly hypocritical given that I love alt poses on pretty much anything usually.

So probably it's mostly about the stars. I dunno. It's an odd one but at least it's saving me money.

If I found one in a charity shop I wouldn't leave her behind and I would keep her. I just wouldn't want to spend the high price on her.

I chose I would want her, but I don't think I'll ever be able to afford her. I like her rearing pose.

I am ashamed to say I am not a huge fan of her I can see why others love her though.
