Pony Life Variants: Molded Hair

Hello!!

So after a recent post on MLPMerch https://www.mlpmerch.com/2021/10/store-finds-magazines-pony-collections.html I found out about another set of molded hair pony life figures existing. With me having no impulse control, I bought them.

Anyway here are the side by side with all releases of the molded hair ponies. The first coming from the $25 glitter unicorn pack, the second from the solo budget releases, and the third from this $20 Walmart set.

Ohh, very interesting! Looks like they finally got the painted purple stripe right on this most recent release, AND it looks like Twilight's hair is slightly darker as well? I miss Rarity's sparkly eyeshadow, though. I'm curious how the rest of the set match up to the budget figures, I guess the cutie marks would be the easiest way to tell. Thanks for the comparisons!

Her hair does seem dark as well as the body too. Also, not sure why, but also the pony is shorter?

I am curious about the budget releases as well, although I am not sure if the second wave was actually released or not. Would be something to get a pure red headed Rainbow Dash.
