Is she safe to sunfade?
« on: June 17, 2021, 09:29:52 AM »
Hello everyone,

This question might be a bit of a repeat but I don't want to risk it.

I have a yellowed teeny tiny little giggles who has a severe haircut and quite a bit of yellowing.

Can I put her in a hydrogen peroxide soak, or is that not tge right thing to do?

Please let me know.

Cheers,

Luke

Sounds worth a shot, just keep an eye on her and be prepared to pull in if you start to see browning.

Sunfading I'd say ok. Probably would avoid a bath in H2O2, that lavender body color being purplish might be unstable and bleed the red pigment. (Purple ponies rule of thumb, shy away from extra chemicals if you can...)

That is good to know. Thank you.
