I think those could all be considered retro, or retro style (although I'm not familiar with Mashems).Another set to maybe add would be the Loyal Subjects action figures, they are G1 characters in a kind of cutesy G1 style.
I look forward to exploring your site! I've heard mention of it on here before, but haven't had a chance to check it out yet. A couple of things that I can think of:The first set of rainbow ponies (Moonstone, Parasol, Starshine, etc.) in the 35th anniversary group were originally sold as scented pponies. Not sure if it was due to complaints about discoloration, but then a non-scented set was released. Some variations from the originals:Sparkler. Her original tail was purple, and original mane was predominantly purple with a neon red stripe in the middle. Retro version has her tail both purple and red, and her mane half and half, with purple on top and red on the bottom. Then they changed her to look more like her original version with the all-purple tail and small red stripe in her mane, but the purple color isn't as dark as the original and actually appears to be 2 shades of purple blended together. Gusty and Sparkler: the stripe in their manes (on the later version of Sparkler) is placed on the other side (non-display side), so the mane lays the opposite direction of the original.Heartthrob is a duller, bustier pink than her original counterpart. Moondancer: has both burgandy red and purple in her tail, much the way Sparkler's was done, instead of just red.I'm sure I'll think of some more and will add to this as I do, but these are the ones I can think of offhand right now.
What about HQG1C too?
Also if anyone knows any visual variations between the reproductions vs original G1/G3 ponies or 25th vs 35th anniversary ponies, please let me know.
