Fail Fix Pets?
« on: March 25, 2021, 07:06:02 PM »
Apparently that "Fail Fix" line of fashion dolls has pets now? There are, from what I could find, 2 dogs, a cat and a pony. I found one of the dogs at TJ Maxx, and after a few weeks decided to go back and grab one. They look like a cross between Little Pretties and Sweetie Pups/Kittens (aside from the pony, who just looks like a My Little Pony).

So the gimmick is that they come with messy hair you're supposed to style and a messy face that you can use a magnetic plastic face mask to remove, revealing a made-up face underneath. The hair was stiff was a board when I pulled it out of the package, but the little brush it came with did a surprisingly good job of making the hair flat and silky... on the NDS  :pout: Of course the DS has to have frizzy hair. Maybe it'll get better when I actually wash it.

Anyone else own any of these? I'm gonna grab the cat for sure whenever I see it (or just get it online).

I think the pony looks really cute, and I think I want the blue dog! I saw the humans at Target a few days ago but haven't seen the pets yet.
That's annoying that the DS has frizzy hair. I think she's a cute mold and I might customize them anyhow, how much did it run you?

I have the cat. I gave her a bath and used elastics to keep the hair down. She looks much better after a good treatment.

I have the dog. The rooting is too thin for my taste, but it looks good after being shampooded and styled.
