His symbol seems to be a seashell? He's a Unicorn, but it seems Unicorn horns are now more or less between the ears like party hats

Argyle's medallion there looks like Twilight's cutie mark.  Also, why does he not seem to have a cutie mark of his own?

His mark may be on the unseen side... from what I have noticed is that sometimes the marks seem to switch sides in the promotional stuff

Oohh I missed that - maybe that's why his full name is "Argyle Starshine"? Like how we had Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, etc? Argyle Starshine doesn't exactly fit the pattern, but it's somewhat reminiscent of those names, I suppose.

Naming schemes in FiM between the parents and kids didn't always match... Remember Twilight's brother is Shining Armor but she is called Twilight Sparkle... neither of the parents have those last names (Twilight Velvet, who I believe had a blind bag version of herself, and Night Light, who I believe was given that name by the fandom due to looking similar to Nachtlicht from the G1 toys)

The apples didn't have the same last names either. The Cakes were the only ones I recall who actually had the same 2nd word name.
There is a lot of oddball naming in the FiM series due to some ponies not having duo names either.

Ah I forgot about Pinkie's family, mostly due to not watching all the seasons of FiM... I got kind of sick of it

I can say I definitely didn't expect most of these! I was a little apprehensive at some names but seeing the characters in the video with the voices isn't so bad. Really happy to have some new footage, a date, and the final title!

I like these. Maby not the biggest fan of the beards, but Ill take'em.

I'm not impressed with any of the designs so far.  Everything about Alpahbittle seems wrong to me.  The name, the design , the fact that he has facial hair...

I think the only way I would tolerate facial hair on a pony is if it looked like a goat beard.... traditional depictions of unicorns had beards anyway... but everyone seems to forget about that haha.

The way they made his facial hair look... it looks too human-like.

I guess I'm in the minority here, because I really like the dads' designs I think it's because of certain fan artists like Lopoddity and Earthsong9405 on DA, who use that exact type of sideburns as shorthand for "dad pony". Alphabittle in particular looks like he walked straight off of Lopoddity's page (well ok, except for the stubby nose )
