And I said in shoutbox I didn't know who any of them were, but I lied. I do know Ken Jeong, but only because of his hamming up some episodes of the masked singer over here.

Not that it matters if they do a good job. I just am not sure about any of this yet.

Alphabittle is indeed a bit of a shock, given G3. Also that name has always bothered me. NEVER would have picked they'd reuse it.

It's just a really weird name for them to reuse? Most of the recycled names in G4 were either blind bags (I imagine whoever was in charge of naming those probably had a list of old names that were "okay" to reuse, or somesuch) or they were fairly generic names anyway (Cupcake, I think there was a Lickety-Split in FiM?)... but reusing THAT name for THIS char just... weird o_O It doesn't suit him at all... It's not even so much the recycled name that bugs me, more that it literally feels like they just tossed a bunch of G3 names into a hat and pulled one out at random...

I'm familiar with... about half of those VAs, which is better than the FiM movie where I'd heard of maybe one of the guest stars beforehand :'D

I just realized who Phyllis reminds me of, she's a dead ringer for the "Marian the Librarian" pony from that one FiM comic. (Not sure which, I'm not very familiar with the comics)

Aww man after the little VA reveal video today I’m so ready to see a full trailer! The ponies look good in action, but we haven’t gotten more than a few seconds of movement from any of them!

I don’t know who half of the VAs are if I’m being honest, but the fact that I recognize any at all tells me they got a pretty impressive line up. I’m surprised this is only getting a Netflix release, it seems like a lot of money has gone into this movie! I wonder if the big names will really stick around for the series though….

Apparently Imalou, who also designed Sunny and Izzy, did Sprout's design. They said on twitter the eyebrows were done like Hitch's on purpose

I can't tell what Hudson pony's symbol is? Phyllis has a business chart type of symbol,   so she must work in finances or something? Maybe a bank? Sprout is a radish pony. That's unique anyway.  Wish they'd have gone with green proper hair, instead of the G4 receding hairline.  That's ok, I don't like him anyway. Argyle almost looks like he has white and pink in his mane and tail.

Most of these feel so mundane to me. I want more rainbows. More color. Less "Phyllis". Poor Alphabittle. What happened...

Really, really hate the tiny cutie marks too. Its like they're ashamed that these designs have anything to do with MLP.

I know Phil LaMarr from Futurama. He has quite a range of voices. I like the way Argyle looks. Don't know if it's his head shape or that his mouth is closed but he looks the most horse-y.

Argyle's medallion there looks like Twilight's cutie mark.  Also, why does he not seem to have a cutie mark of his own?
