I think after the names were revealed, people are more trusting of any information they see there...I posted about this one because I've seen a few people taking it as fact on Instagram where the Maya one seemed to fizzle out once we talked about the gun and stuff.

So I wonder how long after the events of FiM this takes place... Mostly because if there will be any mention of winged unicorns (sorry still not a fan of the other term lol). I'm mostly curious because Twilight and Cadance would have a limited lifespan unlike Celestia and Luna and Flurryheart.

There’s a fan theory that FiM is a TV show in the G5 world. Seeing that screenshot again, that would make more sense for Sunny to be a fan rather than  a pony who reveres old history or legends, given the posters, figures, pins, etc. she has of the mane6.
Idk, the book she’s looking at in the other screenshot with Izzy and the Pegasus guards looks pretty old though. Really hard to tell how long ago or what FiM is in G5 so far. I’m interested to find out.

Hopefully none of the mane suxx will appear as a force ghost to guide this group of plucky pals along the way. That would be so lame.

I actually like this theory better than some of the others. That is, as long as it is just kind of an Easter egg-type thing that stays mostly in the background...a toy here or a poster there, but no mane 6 coming back from the dead or appearing in visions, etc.

If that was the case it would be really cringey. No offense to anyone who enjoys such things but I always shudder when shows try to go meta like that. The new Ducktales cartoon did that with Darkwing Duck and it was so weird and unnecessary and just reminded me that I'm too old for cartoons

So far my money is on the M6 simply being famous/important ponies from the past.

That's what I find kind of weird about children's entertainment these days, when I was a kid it wasn't unusual even for cartoons intended for little children to show at least some basic, symbolic deptiction of death like a ghost emerging from a tombstone at a cemetery, these days if something isn't rated at least PG they will always tread carefully around the topic, trying to be as indirect as possible.

Absolutely LOVE Zipp, Pipp is quite adorable too- it looks like her wings are covered with clouds? They kind of remind me of Flutter Pony wings actually. And the tiara...I wonder if she's a princess of some sort?

Not super keen on the phone, I expected this generation to be more modern but not THAT modern lol. The hoof-shaped Popsocket on the back of the phone is hilarious though.

Still really not interested in the toys, but the animation and character designs look exceptional- if not still a little too human, imo. Get rid of the eyebrows pls
