Hi my name is Eloise and I live in Redcar which is a seaside town in the North East of England. I was born in the early 80s and got my first little pony ‘posey’ when I was 3. I was pony mad as a child and even had a mlp bed room lol. When I reached my teenager years I was into music and really wanted a new keyboard. The one I wanted was a lot of money so my mum said I could have it for my birthday but had to sell things to contribute towards it and she had a found a buyer for my ponies so they went. Biggest thing I regret in my life ever! Fast forward to 2001 and whilst I was at university ‘eBay’ was the new thing and I quickly found people selling ponies! I started collecting them, using the wages of my part time job in a bar to pay of them. I ended up with hundreds of them! Roll on to 2012 and me and my husband wanted to buy a house as we were sick of renting and having to move when the landlords wanted to sell the house or move back in it themselves. Our son was only a toddler and we were given notice on the house we were living in and so had to find money fast for a deposit. The ponies where the things I owned which could raise the most money so heartbreakingly they were all sold
I did make the £5000 I needed though so we got the house. Now I’m in a position to start collecting again and this time I’m determined these ponies are staying with me for life lol! The ponies I love are G1 ponies but I have accumulated at lot of g3s as well. I enjoy restoring g1s and giving them a new lease of life! My son who is now 12 thinks I’m loopy and so does my husband but I don’t care lol! My fave g1 ponies are Gusty and Gypsy. I’m hoping to make some pony friends on here! So that’s a little background about myself and I look forward to talking ponies with you all! Xxx
