pony Life is the G4.5 or G5?

Hello guys!  well i have a huge doubt!  Well Hasbro just released My Little Pony: Pony Life (that everyone knows!) But I don't know if it's G5 or G4.5!  I have a huge doubt if anyone knows let me know!  thank you all!

G4.5. G5 starts with a movie in September.

At one point there was a debate on if the style of the figures for the FiM movie were G4.5 as well but I think the community settled on called them something else (the word slips my mind atm)

I think "Movie Style" and "Reboot" are the ones I've seen, I call them the Reboot figures personally.

I think of the Pony Life line as G4.5 myself, I have no idea when G5 will come out or what it will look like. It's been rumored for more than a year now.

There is a movie that has been in production for a bit that is slated to come out on September 24, 2021. Shameless plug of the movie page on my wiki that has all the information we know of thus far.
I know there was some concern by some people about the movie being delayed due to the pandemic, but official word from Hasbro keeps reinforcing that date, so I'm not all that worried.

I'm sticking to Ponylife as PL at the moment. I've also seen reboot or movie pose for the last redesign. It's a tricky one, but  since G4 is so animation based, I'm working on G4: FIM, G4: EQG and G4: PL as my terms right now. I think we'll only really be able to determine 4.5 when G5 begins, if it indeed does.

Hasbro is actually referring to Pony Life as G4.5 (in the description).

On August 28th, 2020, Liscencing.biz reported that "Hasbro hopes that audiences will be swept away by the new cast of ponies and the incredible adventure that awaits them"

On October 6th, 2020, The Festival of Licensing event featured a live panel from Hasbro. Here it was announced that the "Old Cast" (presumed to be the main cast from Friendship is Magic) will be returning, but most of the focus will be on the new cast of characters. The September 24th release date was confirmed once again.

This is the best thing I've heard regarding new pony stuff for a longgg time now.

(Though I do have to say, I would like it if their only cameo was getting a boot out the door. )

Well, people called the 2017 redesign G4.5, so maybe the Pony Life toys are G4.75

well, we couldn't really decide WHAT to call the 2017 redesign. I saw lots of names thrown around... But Hasbro are calling Pony Life "G4.5" so that settles it, IMO.

Did we ever settle on a name for the 2017 ones? I know the most common suggestions were "Movie" or "Reboot" but idk if we ever came to a consensus on that. I think "Movie" is probably the clearest name for it?
