My 2020 customs - sit back, grab a snack and enjoy!

Dear pony peeps,

With the very famous "Dinner for One"scetch quotation "Same procedure as last year Miss Sophie? Same procedure as every year James.", let me show you what I have done in 2020. If you follow me on deviantart, that's where I regularly post new creations. As different 2020 was, it didn't affect my customs at all. Much more important for me is that I will take another break from commissions when my current list is done. Even though commissioners are (mostly) super patient these days, a list of over 20 people with different (mostly more than 1 pony) is simply too much. I need a bit of personal time to realize own projects that I planned with other artists during 2020 yet as well as to improve and develop new techniques.

But here's what I did in 2020.

Restorations

Brazil Ribbon got new hair (partially self-dyed), symbols and pink marks at her muzzle removed.

HQG1C 2019 UK Con Brittania: I gave her new hair which resembles the UK connection more. They look like the Union Jack now.

Gingerbread Cookie: This G3 pony is a personal project that I finally completed during the 2020 Christmas Celebration days. She is done after the beautiful "Christmas Cookie" picture by AnnieMsson in 2010. She's and will stay part of my collection.

Purple Rapunzel: She was made after the famous Rapunzelvania by ScribbleDabble / Angelus (retired as customiser in 2008). I always admired his Rapunzels that inspired me a lot. So she's part of my collection now.

Stunning as always! I can't even choose a favourite, they are all incredibly well done! 

Newborn Angel is so adorable, and I think the sitting pose really suits Applejack astonishingly well. Amazing restoration work on cute Brazil Ribbon, too!  The reason I never bought Sea Pony Britannia is that she didn't look British enough to me (her colours also match the French or Netherlands flag for example), but you certainly succeeded in her mane looking more like the Union Jack, well done!

I have a few custom ideas myself (and two restorations), do you still have a few slots available in Q1 this year?

I saw how Blazenheartcustoms on IG used the technique first for reflocking her customs. The secret is an electrostatic gun that is filled with the correct flocking material. You connect the gun to the pony with a crocodile clamp (pony needs to be covered in glue first) and then the flocking fibers will stand on the surface.

So many perfect ponies!!   They are all a treat to see...I really like Daddy Sky Rocket and Baby Twilight...and those Colorswirl ponies...and Gingerbread Cookie...and so many others.  How devastating that your first beautiful Rapunzel was lost in the mail

Which eleectrostatic gun and flocking do you use?  I looked them up and there are so many different kinds it's hard to know which one works best for ponies.  I'd love to try flocking on a few of my own customs.
