Cheers you three!!! Amalthea, this kit had slots & small holes for the slots where you fit the pieces together. Glue is still needed but any overnight glue will do for a wood kit.The hard part was cutting the doors off, as well as holes for the upper windows (otherwise it would have just been a roof half there, now it's proper roof windows). But with the right cutting blades & a protective board it can be done well enough. With wood you can always sand things smooth afterwards too.The tedious part was how many coats of white paint were needed to cover the wood colour. I only needed two coats of the red & green, however the white took much more...But I'm pretty proud of what I have now xxx
