Snowdrift-A Christmas Pony

Snowdrift is a silver Big Brother pony with dark silver to gray feathering on his hooves, a pink muzzle and pale blue twinkle eyes. He has a mane with four shades of blue--pale blue, sky blue, dark blue and silver. His cutie mark is a blue Christmas tree with white snow on it and it is accented with glitter. He wears a wreath with holly berries and a pinecone, and around his waist he has a harness ribbon with two silver presents attached to either side of him.

He used to be Aquila the Pegasus--now he has a new life as a Christmas decoration for my family. I rehaired and fully repainted him, and did my best to patch the places where his wings/old gems were (hence his decor, haha!).

Here is his backcard story, which I included as a printout along with the pony:
One winter long ago, a draft horse was pulling a mine cart loaded with coal. The horse startled as he looked up—for a flying sleigh pulled by a team of magical reindeer nearly crashed into him! He forgot about the coal cart and broke free, rushing over to help, for he knew that sleigh belonged to only one jolly old elf—and that was Santa Claus!

Santa slowly stood as the horse let him lean onto his side, and said, “Oh ho ho! It seems Rudolph is getting on in years, like me! And who is this, helping us?”

“My name is Coaldust, and I’m a cart horse,” the horse explained by way of the reindeer and an attending elf, who reloaded and righted Santa’s sleigh. “Would you like to help us get these gifts to the children in town? My reindeer need to recover after their fall!”

“Of course!” Coaldust didn’t hesitate, and the elf hitched him to Santa’s sleigh. The townspeople were delighted and gifted the horse a wreath to wear. As he delivered gifts, a bright blue twinkle filled his eyes.

When the horse returned the empty sleigh to Santa, he said, “Your new name is Snowdrift, and you are an honorary member of the Santa Claus team! Thank you for helping us!” Snowdrift watched the reindeer take off and Santa waved goodbye.

Whenever Snowdrift arrived in a town, the children knew magic was sure to follow!

Thank you! My family loves him dearly and I am glad--my dad loves Christmas and as he is getting older I thought what better way to show I care than with a pony! He sat proudly on the bookshelf alongside some fake snow and candles and he fit right in! :3

That is cool! Most of my Christmases as a kid were spent with stories of Santa Claus and the reindeer so I thought a story for this pony would suit him well.
