Favorite Species of Pony?

What's your favorite pony species/race/breed and why? I'm team unicorn myself, they tend to have the prettiest color schemes and the most practical array of abilities.

I don't have any particular reason, but I find myself drawn again and again to pegasus ponies. I guess I just love wings! I also love wing variety: from the giant wings on Highflying Beauties to the ridiculously tiny on Playskool and Cutie Mark Crew ponies, I find something to like with every wing style.

I like pegasi also, primarily because I am always a sucker for anything bird winged, lol

I don't have one. But as a kid I was obsessed with pegasus ponies for some reason. I think it began with Medley, but I had so many pegasus ponies from sets I wanted as a kid. Didn't get most of them, but yeah.

Mind you some of them had awesome comic personas. I mean, Princess Pearl <3.

As a teen getting back into pony I was all about the unicorns.

Now I don't have one.

I am a bird person and bird lover, I have about 20 birds varying from pigeons to a blue and gold macaw..

So, it is a pretty simple answer: Pegasus!!

I wasn't really aware of having a preference, but looking at my shelf of favourite ponies, most of them are earth ponies. So it looks like it's earthies for me!

As much as I love the land Ponies, I wish G3 had made more Sea Ponies than the tiny mermaids I didn't bother with because they were Bore 7

I also wish there were more adult G4 Sea Ponies made.

I'm a big fan of the G1 Sea Ponies, & the G1 Baby Sea Ponies caught my attention as soon as they showed up!!! I've always had a soft spot for aquatic Ponies tbh.

However I still love the landies. I like unicorns & pegasi equally, & like the fairy-style Ponies like flutters, wingers & G3 & G4 Breezies.

Just on this list, Sea Ponies, especially G1 Baby Sea Ponies, win by a crocodile float's nose!!!

I picked unicorn, because there's hardly a unicorn pose (at least in G1...did they even make unicorns in G3? Not sure I've ever seen one!) I don't love. But I love pegasi and earth ponies as well.

Pegasus because so many cool ponies were pegasi, like Wind Whistler, Paradise, Firefly or Whizzer. Unicorns are close second to me, though.

I had to really think about this! Most of my favorite ponies are Earth ponies, but is that because I like them the best or because Hasbro made so many in my favorite color? Most of my favorite poses are Earth ponies too and I love the Big Brothers and Mountain Boys and they're all Earthies. So I guess I do like Earth the most.

Either earth or unicorn.  My fave pose is an earth pony, but I do really like unicorns as well. As a kid I liked putting the unicorn horns in my mouth...

Unicorns. Of course it depends on the generation as well. I love unicorns, but G3's were lacking in number and unique designs, so I prefer their Earthies and Pegasus more. I like some of the color choices and symbols on G4's, but not their stubby horns and bulbously deformed heads.

I really love earth, unicorn, and pegasus ponies about the same, but if I were to choose a favorite, it would be unicorns. A lot of my favorite ponies are unicorns and they're just so majestical and beautiful. And besides the Skyflier/Powder pose, I do like all the poses they come in.
