question about sun fading?
« on: November 06, 2020, 08:35:19 AM »
I just got a bundle of ponies and whizzer's head is paler than her body, I figure she's just faded from age but after I looked her up I noticed multiple other whizzers for sale all in the exact same condition! bright body / pale head - are certain ponies just more prone to this? I've never seen multiple all in the exact same condition like that before!

I had 2 Sprinkles that were body/head mismatched.  The heads matched the others' bodies so I switched their heads so now they both only have 1 color.  I got them from different places at different times so I know it wasn't just a case of someone else already switching the heads.

I'm fairly certain that it's regrind, so there's no way to set her back to her original state.

oh that's a good idea! maybe I should keep my eyes out for an opposite mismatch...

ohhh that would make sense... I was wondering how she'd fade from neon to that colour so you might be right!

This is funny...I have an opposite mismatch. The head on mine is the brighter pink, and the body is more of a lavender. I'll put a pic up in a little bit once I dig her up.

Here she is. Don't mind her unruly hair...she was in my bait bin because of her mismatch. Not sure why the pic is posting upside down.
