The possibilities of Magic Hour ponies?
« on: October 29, 2020, 09:38:59 PM »
So, in photography, the term “Magic Hour” is used to refer to a time of day  (that lasts around a half hour window of time) shortly before sunrise (golden hour), where the sun is redder and softer, or after sunset (blue hour), where  indirect sunlight takes in a bluer tint.

Since Golden Hour and Blue Hour seem like prime Untouched pony names, how would you guys go about designing a gimmick for such  potential ponies? Would you give them clock-based gimmick that alternates their cutie marks according to the time of day? Would you give them a push button gimmick that sets off camera noises? Let me know how you would treat these ponies!

I decided to actually draw my concept for the magic hour ponies.
growing up, I had a wiggles camera we bought at wiggle world on our trip to Australia. I never had film for it, but I do recall playing with it. I decided to add that idea into my pitch.
My idea is that they would be sold with some kind of MLP themed camera. Like have pony art on the casing, and work the same as a normal camera. The camera would also come with two ponies exclusive to it, Golden Hour and Blue Hour. A set of twin boy and girl ponies you could have fun taking photographs of. They would have a gradient in the plastic (as inspired by lovesbabysquirmy's hair idea) and a glow in the dark effect on their symbols sun/moon.
