Cute detail I noticed on G1 backcards!

I was admiring the G1 backcard art on the My Little Wiki the other day, and I noticed some of the backcards from years 7-9 have a cute little duck hanging out in the scene with the ponies!

There are quite a few if you look, but these are my favorites:

There's a duck on the Rainbow Curl ponies card. He's got an umbrella and is splashing in a puddle :)

aaaahh this is so delightful, I've never noticed him before! I LOVE stuff like this :D Now I want to go through all the backcards and see if there are any more ducks hidden away! Thanks for sharing!

Ok, now this is an awesome thread xD

Those are mostly US cards, so I never noticed that before, although some of the artwork is familiar to the UK as well.

Thanks for highlighting that! It's a cute detail that the artists must have put in either for cuteness or for amusement. I wonder if they had a name for him among themselves...

This has got to be the cutest thing I've seen today. The back card art is already one of my favorite g1 specialties, and little ducky makes them that much better!
