Meetups during COVID

 Does anyone know if there are any zoom meetups for the older gen communities? I have wanderlust and am itching to get out, but it’s not safe, and I don’t think I want to hang around a bunch of men I’ve never met, from the g4 community, anyway.

I don't know of any offhand, but that sounds like a fun idea!  Maybe at some point I'll run a Discord event and play pony shows or something.  (If I do, I'll post about it on the board or on my Tumblr.)

I would be game for that! Meetups are excruciatingly difficult for me IRL, but it would be fun to do something virtually.

They ran ponycon like this and it worked in June but got overrun by G4 stuff in the October one.

That used discord though.

There's like...25 of them, maybe more. It's pretty easy to set up a server and slowly gather people in the general realm as you. I've got one, Beatles has/d one, theres a few others I joined and dipped out of. Depends on what you're looking for, and you can always make one if you don't find something for your particular niche.

ooo an online meetup sounds fun. I'd have to get around to resetting up a camera to my desktop though. Why I've been living like a hermit comes down to my laziness with wanting to deal with setting it up

I wish I had internet at home. I'd love to zoom meet with the locals again... It's been awhile since we had an in person WI meet.

Sooooo, apparently, Zoom meetups can only be 40 minutes  (with 3 or more people) on the free plan. If you have premium, it’s unlimited, I think.

That being said- would anyone be interested in having an online pony tea party (whether on Zoom or Discord)?
