Has anyone managed to take apart any of the new g4.5/Pony Life toys to see what their bobblehead mechanisms/hair roots look like? I'm absolutely dying to know, lol!

I made a thread back when these guys first came out!

Drops off when you get to the tail, it's not worth trying to dig out from the inside. Just do your best to remove the hair, drill, and get ready to glue.
The pics are a bit squished, if you open them in another tab they should view just fine.

What Tailrustedtealeaf stated. I have one figure sitting right here.
I did managed to get the whole dig out thing but that was because I wanted to reposition AJ's leg personally, so I had a larger gap to work with. It was still a pain in the tail though.

As for the bobble head, you'd need to either cut the neck joint in the head itself at least most of the way around (also not fun). I removed the hair of mine after that and then decided for rehair it might just be easier to glue wefts into the rows like a model horse. So the option of removing the hair from the outside may be possible but I haven't tried it on the Fluttershy I have.
My DeviantArt, why not drop by and take a look!
