That's the best!!! We all want to reach our goals and be perfect but in reality we are not:P but it is how we look at things helps us. Progression is better than giving up.

It took me over 2 years to get over my junk food addiction. I do relapse but in short I look how much better I have done and say yeah! I am lucky if a relapse happens once every  3 months.

I have not been the best..except singing and wings. I am slowly catching up. I wint be 100% wings by Niv but I am happy where I am at. I know I need to practice more piano, but time and now a work related injury has made it difficult.

I feel everyone is trying and doing a great job. I will be picking winners Oct 18. So all you have to do is send me your address by PM before that. Each post is a random draw number. So get posting for extra numbers. If I dont get your address you are not able to win:) I am gone on vacation the last week of Oct so I want to ship by then and the winners get their wings within that time:)

I could only wish I was good at singing...I remember watching my mom cringe when I tried to sing something as a kid once, and I never wanted to sing in my school music class after that because I was too embarrassed to open my mouth! Now I only sing to my baby girls when no one's around and hope they don't grow up traumatized, lol.

I just haven't been feeling well. This means I haven't gotten anything done. I feel so drained I'm not sure what it is.

I'm trying to use the purchase of a sofa as a motivator. As in, I'm saving money for one and when I have the space ready I can get it. I really want a sofa, it will make the living/crafting room more comfortable and feel more homey. I need to buy some storage drawers for the bathroom too so I can put stuff away.

I managed to get a little bit of painting done over the weekend, but I decided that I didn't like the way one of my projects was going so I've decided to strip it and start over with a different paint.  So that puts me back a bit but I'm hoping the new paint will work better and make it easier to complete.  And now that my parents are home their dog won't be waking me up at 1 am so he can go out and smell the yard, so I might actually not be too tired to paint.

My wing goal may not make it, but I am well half or almost there!!! I made 1 goal:)

Better at doing something at home after work...no snacks!!! But plugged out on treats at work... darn chocolate with mint!!!! Love:)

Last few days have been horrible...I wish It was cd due to me lazy...but real life is awful. My passion is teaching music but I need a job before I can only do just that...but the will to get up the next day is gone. I am letting my sorrow and I know a crazy will help me keep try in ng...so I will be ok but I almost wished my husband and I got covid(we had a close call) just to not go to work....sorry to sound like a poor me poor me but I just have to let it out and cry. It just helps and I hope I can bounce back.....or call in

Week went crazy. Had a covid scare at work. I am negative..so I have some time to do a lot of catch up!!! Wahoo! This is the 2 weeks for posts and contest. I got weeks mixed up...sorry about that. I do need your address by the 18 because I will ship the winners before I leave on vacation at the end of the month.

1. To remake all of my damaged wings that were destroyed after a power outage. It's about 20 or so.

2. Update my Business Facebook Page Regularly...hoping for 2-3 days a week, but I will be working on 1 day a week.

I am consistent with the 2-3....sometimes even more. Didn’t realize but I have been showing off students and talking about my process of getting ready to perform.

3. Start working on being active daily. Work out or chores around the house.

Chores....good and bad days....yeah this one might need some new tactics

4. Play piano and sing regularly.
Sing yes as I am performing this Sunday. Piano needs work...sigh.

I know by Nov 1 the wings will be 50% completed, the others will be my challenge.

I'm still here.  I just don't remember to post.

I'm working on painting things.  I have several projects that are close to done, some just need eyes painted on--I have to decide how I want them to look and what color I want to use before I can do that, though.  I've been good at remembering to exercise and the weight isn't coming off as fast as I'd like, but it isn't coming back on so it's still a win. 

With any luck I'll be able to finish my goal of 6 projects and get started on some others.

I'm here too, just hitting obstacles. First I was sick for a bit then my back went real bad on me, it's almost been a week and I still have trouble walking.

So what were my goals?

1. To unpack and organize. There is currently a pile of boxes in the living room where a sofa could go.
2. Walk to the mailbox everyday (except Sunday). It's a little ways down the street, so good exercise.
3. Once I find it, work on the custom pony I started last Dec.
4. Cook more meals instead of relying on delivery.

1. Okay. Well, I moved all the bedroom boxes into the bedroom and unpacked... two.
2. I have been to the mailbox maaaaaaybe four times? Not everyday.
3. I still haven't found him but I think I know where he is.
4. This one I've been good with! I haven't ordered out at all this month! And I'm making sure to eat breakfast even if it's just a granola bar.

I don't know if I'll have everything unpacked by Nov 1st. Whenever my back feels better I'll try walking to the mailbox more. I don't really have things set-up to airbrush... so really I don't know if I'll have the custom painted. As far as no ordering out, I gotta have some chinese eventually, but I've resisted so far

I am doing great!! But my job is on lock down due to COVID outbreak...I tested Negative...twice so i am ok. But i have lots of time at home.

I haven't updated in forever. I've been falling off a bit. The second half of this month has been overwhelming, life-wise, with several health concerns related to 2 of my children. So I have put exercising on the back burner, as well as, sadly, housekeeping. At least shorts/short-sleeve season is over, anyway! I guess I have been going on more walks, since this fall has been so pretty, so I'm not completely lethargic. I've fallen off my meal plan as well...I'm so sick of all the meals we make and it's so hard to motivate myself to cook when my dinner repertoire is so repetitive, and my son is getting pickier and pickier.

On the money-saving front: good news/bad news...I've spent soooooo much this month, and I'm not sure I can justify placing a hair order in November as planned to finish my custom girls. But it was mostly on winter clothes for my girls who desperately need them, and some for myself, which I don't need desperately but I haven't bought anything new in the past 5-6 years (unless you count maternity clothes!). I have stuck to my oath not to buy ponies!

I do plan to start my son's castle project this afternoon...I told him so, so I guess I'm committed! My family can expect not to be able to use our dining room table for, well, the next century or two! I'm looking forward to making it; still have some bugs to work out as far as making the conical turret tops and drawbridge, but I'll cross that bridge (no pun intended, haha) when I come to it.

I keep forgetting to pm you my address, so I'll go do that now.

I dont see any failing. See a good parent. I did not get blessed with kids, so I can only imagine that life. But you took the time to spend wisely and do some self care. That is very important:) you still got out and walk in the hectic of life and that's a super star attitude:)

As for picky eaters maybe cook little of what he will eat and then other fun meals. He might just try it. He will still be fed, but maybe get hungry enough to try other foods. I have to that at child care. To make sure all get the same servings I gave to limit the servings they get. When they get hungry enough they will eat other foods. Not always quietly but it could help...I am no expert by any means.

Thank you for the encouragement...it helps! I'm sure no one's world is perfect at this phase of life, but it's hard to see that when you're in the trenches sometimes. Other people make it look so easy, it just FEELS like I'm the only one struggling to keep my house from being fingerpainted with the contents of someone's diaper.

Got our castle started! It's going to be slow going...I'm kind of engineering it as I go, and my son is frustrated it's not taking shape as quickly as building a Lego tower. But I think it will look cool once it's done!

Young children have no patients they have attention spans of a squirl... hehe. It's hard to see our own positives when we struggle but each day we try is a step towards the life we want:)
