As we step closer to the end...look at how far you have come. I didnt meet all my goals, but steps were made that brought me to goals I had no idea I made. Your path can go in many directions. I will be shipping hopefully Friday. Announce the winner Friday/Saturday

I finished up 2 more projects last night and with any luck will be able to finish up a couple more tonight.  I have 4 now that just need eyes so we'll see if I can get them to look right.  :)

My back injury seems to be healed up (though I still have my normal back pain) but I managed to walk to the mailbox today :) I also unpacked two more boxes in the bedroom. It's not much, but it's something.

Had a semi-productive day today...made a phone call to schedule the dreaded physical my health insurance is suddenly requiring in order for my rates to not be raised, and sent an even more dreaded email disputing a refund that I was supposed to be sent but haven't received (I hate confrontations!). Then I started re-glittering some faded symbols on some g1 ponies...can't wait to see how they turn out! Only downside is, I upended the tray I was working on, and now my bathtub is covered in purple glitter. Glad my husband is working late so I have time to get the mess cleaned up before he gets home.

I ordered some ponies yesterday...ugh my willpower is crap. I need to figure out a side hustle one of these days to be able to afford my hobbies. What's wrong with me...seriously.

Ooh pony clothes! I tried looking online a while ago to see if anyone had patterns for pony wear out there, but no luck. I must be typing in the wrong search criteria, or they don't exist. I went through a phase where I was obsessed with collecting pony wear for a while.

As for selling doubles, I really should do that...I have so many! I'm terrified of selling on Ebay though (or online in general), so it will probably never happen.

It can be scary, but there are other options. I use Facebook. I just use the collector fan pages. You get to know the person more and feel your pony is going to a good home. I dont have anything high price or rare. So its normally a low cost item. I also started very small. Just 10 items at most. Didnt want to get overwhelmed. Now ebay sets it up that I dont do auctions. Almost like an online shop that you do t have to do bid wars with.

I love pony ware. I have no pattern but I can kind of tell you what I do to make outfits. I do them mostly free hand. If you knit. Hehe. I can not sew to save my life haha. Still trying to figure out crochet.

I don't knit or crochet...someone tried to teach me 15 years or so ago but I didn't have the patience (or skill!). I do like to sew though, although it's been many years since I've done any of that and my machine is in disrepair. I suppose it would be just as easy to hand-stitch something as small as pony wear, though.

I can see how Facebook would have its advantages, because I could just sell local and not have to deal with shipping and trusting buyers not to claim I sent the wrong thing or not at all. The problem is, I haaaaate social media. I have a Facebook, but I abandoned it years ago, not sure I can even get into it anymore. Also, not sure how big the pool of local buyers around here would be...I'd really prefer to sell to collectors. As for Ebay, I've had a few hairy transactions lately on the buyer end, between a nonresponsive seller and a seller who didn't refund my combined shipping as promised after they had my money. The buyer has the upper hand as far as Ebay is concerned, it seems, and I'm not sure I'm ready for the stress of being on the other end of a situation where it's my word against the buyer's if they decide to pull a scam. I read the horror stories on the trader support board here and think, man, I don't want to deal with that! So, all of my duplicates will likely live in my collection until I find someone IRL who wants them...they're mostly common ponies that no collector will want, anyway  Your wings are a good thing to sell on Ebay because it's such a niche market; most customers are probably drawn in from sites like this and people you get to know, like you said. I need to find something like that that I can be good at!

You could always post them on the for sale boards here and see if anyone wants them.

I will ship Saturday and announce that say as well. To all of you great job. Healthy pony is not easy and each step seams so tiny it hardly seams worth it. Look at it this way. A child builds a Tower with one block on top of the other and gets upset that it falls. When an adult does it, we take the time to make sure its aligned, or adjust if it leans, or add other blocks for support...its the little details we do that makes the tower strong. It's the little steps you do today that help you stand strong tomorrow:)

I bought new jeans and I had to get some 3 sizes smaller than I had been wearing.  :)

I also finished a few more art projects.  I've got 3 more that I want to finish before I post pictures so we'll see if I can get them done this week.
