Vintage popple info needed

I'm trying to restore one of my favorite toys but I have uncovered a mystery.

Party popple is described as having lavender palms, cheeks and right ear.
But my boy (known as bubbles from here on in) has blue palms and left ear.

Hes definatly faded but his cheek colour doesnt match his ear or palms and surely they'd all be faded the same?

If anyone has a near mint one..I'd love a pic for comparison as my boys getting a makeover on friday and I'd like to dye his ear the right colour.

Party's right ear, cheeks, and palms should all be the same color.    But the left ear is a different shade of pink than the color pink on the feet.

But bub's  ear and palms are definatly blue while his cheeks are clearly lavender.

He is a mysterious pop pop.
