Replicating G3 Pearlescence

I'm just curious if anyone has done so successfully. I have a Sew and So with a gnaw out of her hoof which I could fix and paint over, but she is pearly...I'm curious if I'd be able to replicate it. Also just for customs purposes in general.

There are pearly paints. Createx makes some lovely ones. The only thing is the pearly ponies are subtle so you'd need a very light touch of paint. Watering it down will make the sparkly bits sink, so you might be able to control the pearl content that way if using a brush. An airbrush would be ideal though.

I use both the pearl and iridescent Createx paints a lot. I'll come back later when I can upload pics.

There are also pigments that you can add to different mediums.. (google pearl pigments .. some cool stuff pops up on etsy, but i know brands that are in stores as well)

but I wouldn't know which one would be best for replicating your exact issue, since I don't own any G3s.
