POTD 8/18/2020 Diamond Rose II

I really like the Glimmer Wings ponies and have them all. Even though it doesn't make sense for them to all exist in context of show lore. The only time we saw something like this was with Rarity when she was given wings to go to Cloudsdale. But that didn't really go well now did it?

I loooove Diamond Rose, still looking for one for my collection after all these years lol - I do love the glimmer wing ponies, I used to have a couple of them, and I really liked how showy the wings were. So, a definite want!

I have a couple with those wings and they cause a wipeout fairly often xD. But I think I only have Rarity and Ploomette. I don't think I have her.

(Honey Rays' wings are worst, though. She's basically a snow plough)

I have the regular DR though. I traded for her last year I think, with someone on here <3.

Well now we know what you do.with your Honey Rays.   

In seriousness, though, I learned when rearranging the G4 ponies that Honey Rays goes down first and then everyone else xD. Otherwise it's carnage. At least the glimmer wings and the water cutie wings don't take up much space...normally.

Unless you have a glimmer wing pony whose wings don't like to stay up. It's Rarity I think that's on the front of my shelf despite the wings because putting her behind the other ponies...didn't work out >.>

I do have one pony from this series, but it's not Diamond Rose. And yeah, she does take up a bunch of shelf space.

New to me, but i am not too keen on the fancy wing ponies. I prefer a more traditional Pegasus.

Have! She's a weird pony because I don't usually like ponies with big wings like this, and while her colours are nice, Plumsweet is similar and does it better. The wings are what make this pony stand out, I don't think she'd be as interesting if I got her normal release.

She's more tall than she is wide since her wings do fold in a little bit, which is helpful for display.

I don't know if I've seen her before but she's very beautiful!  I like the size of the wings - they look like they could actually allow a pony to fly without some kind of magic (well, its a bit less suspension of disbelief than usual eh?)!  Her regular version is a bit on the plain side but I really like this version.

Have her. Love the gradient effect on the wings! (Though I think G4 Sweetsong did it a little better. )
