Hello all,
A few years ago I got a lot of ponies of Craigslist that seemed to have spent the past 25 or so years in a box in a leaky Pacific Northwest attic. They definitely smell of mildew, and a lot of them have marks like this:

When I read the label it said that it wasn%u2019t a good idea to use it on painted surfaces. I think I can keep it away from the paint but I%u2019m wondering if it will affect the pony%u2019s dye/color long term. I%u2019ve seen those other products that get into the plastic and degrade the pigment used to color the pony over time.
In any case, how have you cleaned up ponies that look like this? A lot of them are doubles for me and I%u2019d be quite happy to get them looking presentable and traded or sold to living pony homes. Thanks for your advice!
