G1 Diamond Dreams Question

So I was randomly cruising across Ebay today and saw Diamond Dreams. Then I looked at what she has sold for on Ebay. So my question is why is she so expensive? Is there something particularly unusual about her or Merry Go Round ponies in general? I picked up a Tassels last year at a swap meet for $10, so the prices I saw today were surprising.

she is the Collectors' Favorite of the MGR ponies.  the others are not worth as much... but she is, for whatever reason.

She's the Mimic/Night Glider of the set! I would've totally thought Flower Bouqet would have garnered the higher price, but it must be the unusual colors.

Never really understood it myself and always been kind of irritated by it because she's a childhood pony I'm trying to get back haha - I guess there aren't that many adult non-nirvana yellow ponies with red hair! I think there's only Sunburst the mountain boy?

both Diamond Dreams and Sparkler (the two prettiest imo) where cut out from the European releases, we only had the other four. So I guess that is a reason they would be harder to find then the others, but it doesnt really explain why Diamond Dreams is pricier then Sparkler though. I guess that is due to popularity mostly.
