Right now I’m working on a baby pony g1 custom with rainbow hair. I think I’ll do a glittery rainbow flower garden design on her!

Next I’m hoping to make an among us pony and vampire pony!

I'm finally getting going on some more customs! I'm reworking some old customs of mine that have sadly started to fall apart over the years...and the Jurassic Park pony is being painted...he is a dark green with inset glitter and I don't know if magenta, yellow and light green would complement him at all...trying to go for the stripes on the Ford Explorer look...hmmm....

^ You could create a pallet with the colors you want to use and see if they look okay together.

As for me, I'm feeling the customizers' itch  I'm gonna get my big wing boy out of storage and finish him. I'm not worried about airbrushing anymore. I can tell when my downstairs neighbor isn't home because her dog barks constantly. I'll just airbrush when she's gone.

I found a few and it turns out hot pink/magenta is a good contrast to dark green, so the mane will mostly be magenta with highlights of yellow and green blended together! :3

Will try and work on the customs over the weekend...hope everyone's customs/WIPs are coming along nicely!

Drilling holes
No, seriously, have you ever worked on a pony that was so hard you had to resort to a machine to root them? That's what's happening right now.

Does anyone have a good go-to they use for getting rid of glue inside of the heads? I'm trying to do something to a G3 but it's not panning out since I can't remove all of the glue.

Going to make bushwollies from apoxi sculpt and when they’ve dried I’m going to sand them, then flock them.

Wounded my left index finger by re rooting ponies.

Got a whole lot of ponies coming from Etsy to re root or custom.

My Lego customs are on hold.

Acetone works well for glue. Soak a cotton ball in it and scrub in one direction.

edit: If the glue is pooled inside the head, you can actually pour the acetone right in, cover the plugs with your hand or paper towels and let the acetone sit for a minute, then scrape the glue out. Don't let it sit for too long though, because it could start eating the plastic. I've done this multiple times for massive glue globs.

Three bushwoolies done (Pink, Red and Yellow). Run out of apoxie sculpt so now I’m using my air drying clay for the others.

Ordered more hair, so I’ve got the hair I need.

Have to order three ponies from Etsy so that I can knock those off of my want list.

Does anyone have any advice on rerouting the tail without zip ties? I’ve run out of zip ties and have a pony nearly completed. :(

Rerooting, not rerouting lol.

Rerooting, not rerouting lol.

You can basically use twist-ties instead of tiny zip ties.  Do you have access to twist-ties?
I've also done one with just dental floss before.

Thanks to Shimmlight for the new avatar image

I don’t think that I have twist ties, but I was wondering if maybe yarn would work? I’m attempting a perfume puff type of pony, so I’m using yarn anyway !

I have done yarn and several knots to hold tails in.
For hard head rerooting I have put rice in a sock and nuked it.  Put the sock on the head to warm it and it is easier.  Not tried it with repainted though so not sure if that helps.

Rainbow babies!!!  The world needs more of them.

Another question, for the perfume puff pony hair you just brush out yarn hair gently, correct?

I've just started customising ponies again after about 10 years.  I'm working on some Borg ponies first. Then I plan on doing some federation ponies.
