Flutter Pony Wing Help:)

I have a custom order for wings......BUT it is super hard to do only one wing. It is so much easier to do multiple wings at one time.

I have a creative block....I need some inspiration and motivation....

I have a lot more wing shapes cut out so really the sky is the limit!

Give me your design. You can draw it, describe it, pictures that inspire you....any thoughts will do. If I make your design I will post it here! If you really like and want your design, I will hold it for you!

You can take my precut and design A-M wings and color them in!

I just need some help getting inspired! I start work on wings this weekend!

I have a lot of respect for people with the patience and creativity to make new flutter wings so many unique shapes and designs! A lot of your cut-outs remind me of butterflies, perhaps various kinds of butterfly wings can give you some color inspiration?

I sometimes wonder how pastel-pink heart-shaped wings would work out (or love-inspired wings in general). I've also toyed with making candy-themed or candy-inspired wings for my wingless Yum Yum, based on her symbol and matching her colors. Neither of these are concrete ideas per se but maybe they can help. I wish you luck with creative block, I can relate!

My current standard wings are made from two pieces, a main one and a small one tabbed through a slot in it and glued in place. The secondary piece is based on how the wings are drawn in the cartoon.

As far as color, with my original flat ones I gave Hollywood a red wing (tinted with marker and covered with plastic wrap because I was out of actual clear-coat) and a blue wing (achieved not by tinting but by skinning the base plastic layer with plastic from a damaged freezer bag).
When I make a colored set for her with the new style, they will be tinted by painting them with ordinary transparent watercolors and then clear-coated. At least the red one will, I might have a bottle top made of blue plastic I can use for that side.

I'm also planning on making alternate green wings for a couple of my Flutters, using Mountain Dew bottles instead of the clear Pepsi ones. And I want to make a special silly set using the molded Coca-Cola logos from a 20 fl. ounce Coke bottle.

I have a new shape suggestion to offer: Wider near the pony's body, but with a long, thin protruding tail section that sticks out an inch or more past the rump.

You could base some off of the many Vivillon designs.  I don't think anyone's done that yet.

Oh my goodness, these are all so stunning! I want them all! First pic/bottom left, second pic/bottom, and 4th pic/bottom right are my favorites, but I love the ones that resemble real butterfly wings.

These are stunning, CG13!   My favourite pair is probably the creamy white butterfly wings in the first picture, but I also particularly like the green and red fantasy wings (4th pic, bottom right).
